Gud evening mga ka vios. Need help lng talaga. My vios is just 1 year and 6 months and 9thousand pa lng odo nya. kanina pag uwi ng misis ko biglang hindi na gumana lahat pati alarm at pati light sa dashboard. Ano kaya nangyari sa vios ko? pina emergency check ng mechanic baka maluwag ang batt term. Ok nman.

Ang alam ko for battery on brand new vios, one year lang ang warranty as per manual. Pero talk to your SA pa rin para sure. If not talagang need mo to buy a new one

the battery shop can probably honor the warranty it extends to its batteries, to the day.
but the casa... it is common knowledge, the battery in their spankin' new, fresh-from-the-factory car, has been there even longer than the car's delivery date to the owner's garage.. the "one year manual-stated warranty" is probably shorter than the battery manufacturer's warranty, to compensate for the "factory waiting time"..
and yes, it is a good idea to talk to your ahente as you have nothing to lose..

Ok guys just did a canvass for my ride Toyota Vios 1.5G AT 2004

Cruven parts / Goodyear parts price = mahal ng supplier nila magbenta ng front/rear shock abs / shock mounting though sa cruven 1500 install ng front/rear shocks absorber / 750 if front lang (that is if the parts is bought outside , 1400 lang pag sakanila yung parts)

Alabang Auto Parts Supply = Front Shock ABS = 2500+ / Rear Shock ABS = 1400+ / Front Shock Mounting = 650+ each yan

Prens Auto Parts Alabang = Front Shock ABS = 2400+ / Rear Shock ABS = 1400+ / Front Shock Mounting = 900 each din / Labor for front/rear 1400 plus 200 if parts bought outside

JP Wheels = Front Shock ABS = 2500+ daw no idea sila / Rear Shock ABS = 1400+ daw no idea kasi nga la sila stock / Front Shock Mounting = 1k-2k daw no idea din / labor for front/rear 1K / 500 if front or rear only di narin nila nabigay yung additional labor fee if ever bilin ko sa labas yung parts

Lahat ng napag tanungan ko puro gas type yung shock absorbers nila at puro KYB brand yan /
So guys need your help xD

    Question:

    1. Eto ba talaga yung shock absorber for Toyota? gas type ba talaga? meron daw kasi liquid pero malambot yon
    sorry no idea

    2. San ko kaya ipapa install? kasi definitely baka sa alabang auto parts kona lahat bilin ng shocks pero im thinking front lang muna next month na yung rear sakit sa bulsa :p... do they accept credit cards din ba?

    3. So ang choices ko prens autoparts alabang / jp wheels / cruven sucat , sinu kaya ang mas recommended sa tatlo? kasi im planning first ipapa underchassis check kona muna sakanila para if ever may i aadd silang parts na papalitan i'll defenitely buy it,

    please need your inputs guys

btw di kona pinost yung mga prices and shocks ng minerva / goodyear at cruven halos 3K+ eh haha grabe ano ba pinagkaiba nila sobra sa mahal yung iba naman ang mura lol

Gas shocks talaga sa vios pag 2004 and 2005. Kyb is ok and may nabasa ako before na mas recommended ang kyb dito sa pinas.

I choose jp wheels before kasi yun ang sabi sa mga forums before. Di ko pa narinig yung sa alabang and sa cruven before may nabasa akong bad record ata.
Btw sa jp i use cash not card i remembered having problems withdrawing pa kasi kala ko nag cacard sila. Check mo na lang rin hehe.

Manual alignment is ok. No need na ipa align sa iba. Mas ok pa nga minsan ang manual at least walang computer na magloloko.
