Oo. Medyo effective naman yung lubricant na inispray ko, madali na sya iangat. Pero di pa rin tulad nung sa Vios ni ronki paghila ko nung lever nya, angat agad yung hood. Yung akin kailangan hatakin muna eh.

EDIT: Btw I'm referring dun sa pag open ng hood mismo, not the lever. Ok pa yung cable ng lever eh. Yung lock mismo ng hood ang medyo kailangan ng lube.

buti naman at hindi sa lever, mas mahirap kung yung sa cable wire ng lever mismo. baka nga lubricant lang ang kailangan niyan.

yung brake ko whenever aapak ako, mayroon "TOK" sound heard throughout the cabin, lalo kapag off ang radio and night time. kahit may aircon, rinig yung "TOK" tuwing magpreno.. ano ho kaya ang problem?

and sa clutch ko naman, nag "squeek..." tuwing i-depress, mag shift or kahit cold start, bago i-start makina, rinig din.. any inputs? thanks!

Shet ganon ba un? Pinaretighten ko belt sa toyota bicutan kasi minsan kahit di ako nakaapak sa clutch parang may squeak sya sa clutch pala galing iyun. Kasi andun pa din eh

Not sure about sa Tok sound sa brake sir, pero yung clutch normal lang yan. May tunog din yung sa amin, maski mga taxi naririnig ko meron din. Minsan nawawala naman.

thanks sir, kairita lang kasi yung both sounds sa clutch at brake, wala naman dati nun.. sana walang nasira.. yung sa clutch na-try ako mag lagay ng grasa dun sa engine bay, yung sa clutch, di ko alam tawag dun pero it move pag inapakan ang clutch pedal..

Mukhang common sakit ng Vios yan ah... sa amin din napalitan na yung cable.

mukhang normal na nga talaga sir sa vios, yung sa ka-officemate ko naman may times na hindi bumubukas yung gas flap kaya di na niya pinapaabot ng 1/4 yung fuel tank niya bago siya magpa-gas.

normal na talaga siya due to wear and tear na rin ng mga components siguro. before kasi ako magpalit ng clutch last December 2012, nakakairita yung sound ng clutch ko. after ko magpalit, di na ganon kalakas yung squeek na sound.

Then spray liberal amount of TB cleaner on the butterfly to loosen all the gunk. Place the big rock on your gas pedal or have your assistant press on the gas pedal to open the butterfly. Spray TB cleaner all over and wipe off all the dirt. Yung gold na "screen" I just sprayed TB cleaner until it's clean, I did not wipe it baka mabali or what. Be cautious on working with the butterfly, use minimal pressure on it as much as possible, you don't want to break it or say bye bye to your Throttle Body.

Wipe off as much dirt as you can using the toothbrush. Marami pang dumi sa pinakaloob pero I just sprayed a lot of TB cleaner on those and didn't bother to reach it kasi ang layo na at di na kaya ng toothbrush, baka may masira pa ako.

After cleaning




Return all that you've removed and make sure the air tube is fitted properly and secured by the clamps, tighten the screws properly. Then remove the negative terminal of the battery for at least 15 minutes to reset the ECU. The one who taught this to me did not reset his ECU at first so he got a Check Engine Light (CEL). After resetting the ECU, the CEL is gone.

You can also clean your MAF sensor while you're at it but I don't have the pics for that since I already cleaned mine a few months ago. Basically you just remove the MAF sensor and spray CRC Mass Airflow Sensor Cleaner if you can find one or an Electronic Contact Cleaner (Quick Dry and with NO LUBRICANT. Don't use WD40 or any other chemical) on the sensor. It's 2 thin wires medyo tago sya and be careful not to wipe or touch it or else you'll break it. Let it dry naturally then put it back. Also reset the ECU after doing this.

The MAF sensor is this one. Pretty easy to remove. Just a pair of screws and a connector attached to it.

This is a short video I took when I tried to start the car after cleaning the TB and resetting the ECU. First try, hindi nagstart. 2nd try tinapak tapakan ko yung gas pedal so nagstart na. Nanginginig at first so hinayaan ko muna then moments later I revved it, nawala na yung nginig. Medyo mataas lang ang idle at first pero it will return to normal soon enough.

Test drove the car after a few hours of cleaning the TB and damn the throttle response was definitely better. Medyo tumigas yung feeling ng gas pedal pero kaunting tapak lang aarangkada agad. Have yet to measure the FC pero I'm sure it will improve. Napansin ko rin na hindi na nanginginig when going to a full stop as well as on idle. Dati kasi bumababa yung idle rpm to 500 paminsan minsan and nanginginig yung makina, ramdam na ramdam sa cabin.

Madalas din nangyayari sakin 'to. Feeling ko gumagalaw ang pads pag preno. Try mo palagyan ng grasa between calipers and pads sa next PMS. Di ko na pinapansin masyado. Nasanay na siguro

Kanina sa GH ayaw tumaas ng right side window ko nung nakapark ako. After several tries saka gumana. Lintek yan akala ko magiging basang sisiw pa yun loob ng kotse kasi nga umuulan.

Happened to me several times also pero sa drivers side naman before.

Anyone experienced this? Ayaw ko naman maipit yun bintana rolled down kung kelan nagmamadali ako umalis ng kotse.

Try mo sa TrueValue. Baldwin filters meron din sa Gigatrade sa Rizal Ave Caloocan between 3rd and 4th ave. Mas mahal lang ng kaunti presyo nila sa Volmax pero legit seller sila.

sa akin naman un sa driver side kapag inaangat taas baba sya ayaw tumigil unless ipull mo ng konting diin un switch... pinacheck ko sa bicutan pinalitan nila ng motor un window... hopefully di na sya ulit bumigay kaya pakiramdaman na lang kung topakin pa....
