Para sa akin okay naman tunog ng head unit. Actually wala sa head unit yan. Speakers at amplifier ang importante. Kaya kung may auxiliary jack pre out idaan sa input jack ng amplifier then papunta sa speakers. Amplified na ang sound. And together with a subwoofer pwede na mag party sa loob ng innova hehe. Ang problema lang kung kaya ng speakers yung amplified sound. Baka mababa ang wattage.

anyone here experienced scratched oe spare rims (2011 g)? - i did (d*mn!). i never had any rim scratches in my life!

when i examined underneath, it seems to have been in collision with the rear frame crossmember (51209-0K020). this is where the spare tire carrier assembly is bolted to. on either side you'll see protruding flaps of metal that made the scratches on the rims.

the major contributing factor to this is the spare tire lock. if you push the spare tire lock further so that it firmly pushes on the rims upward, there is a tendency for the rims to hit the flaps i was mentioning earlier, thus scratching - imagine how good our roads are here in the philippines.

just a word of warning to all lads...

if you can accumulate 10K kms in 6 months go with fully synthetic. i tried using fully synthetic before but it takes almost 1 year before i reach 10K kms so i returned back to mineral oil.

yes, I think on average 7-8K lang ako for a year. The reason that I ask that question, kung meron bang negative effects of using just an ordinary oil? but I'll change it naman every 5K because I wanted to prolong the life of my engine.

i've been using mineral oil for almost 5 years na with no issues. as long as you use the recommended oil then it should be ok. but if you have money to burn then go with fully synthetic.

oh okay, thanks sir. just wanted to confirm that using just an ordinary mineral oil is okay and will not do harm to your D4-D engine.

yep Oil Change Interval - apologies for the confusion.

BTW, for the record, I had been using Delo Multigrade 10w40 in my previously sold lancer glx 2000 (first owned). I didn't have any issues with the engine. Just frequent OCI. Yes it's a diesel engine, but fleet oil so good for both gas and diesel. A gallon back then costs roughly 750, Vic oil filter roughtly 150, drain plug gasket 25 - DIY oil change so that's less than 1k. also, it's also worth mentioning that my cylinder head when sold was really clean - no varnish deposits (still the color of aluminum). lucky owner he got a 90k mileage car that 11 years old with virgin engine and a very clean engine.

Anybody here who has knowledge on how to reprogram the remote? Kindly give instructions po. Thunder yata ang brand ng alarm system ng toyota. I got this free from toyota by the way. Walang kwenta.
We have the same case. Pag nilock ko yung car using the remote, mag on lang yung alarm pero open pa rin doors. So i manually lock it. Pero 70% of the time naman gumagana. Di ko lam ano ang problem pag ganon, yung remote ba or yung mechanism. Wala pa ko time ipaayos eh. Tiis na lang muna, na icheck mabuti if na lock.

We still have 13 year old Lancer itlog on mineral oil every 5k kms and yes the cylinder head is aluminum clean. No oil sludge, no visible oil filming.

Go mineral oil!!! you can never go wrong
