medyo mahirap ikabit yung mudguard pag hindi tatanggalin ang gulong. Yung sa akin sa tamad kong magtanggal ng gulong, I just used a long nose to drive the screw into the hole.

I tried using a small philips screw driver pero ayaw, nakaharang ung gulong, can't get through. Try ko mamaya i-turn ung manibela para sideways na ung gulong baka sakali may puwang na. Hassle kasi kung tatanggalin pa ang gulong.

no need to remove your tires, ako kinabig ko lang ng paliko yung manibela para yung clearance between the tires and the area where the mudguards will be installed is lumuwag....

Good day, mga sirs. I'm a newbie here, and a happy owner of a two-month old Innova E. For the past days, I have been reading back through this thread and trying to absorb as much information as I could sa mga posts dito, to learn more and better take care of my vehicle. Pasensya na mga sir, pero di ko pa nakita yung mga topics that concern me most at this time, and I'm afraid it would take a while bago ko makita ang sagot. So if I may just ask my concerns dito, hoping that our kind-hearted fellow Tsikoters will post their responses. Here are my queries:

    1) Anong klase po ba ng after-market alarm ang pwede kong ipalagay sa Innova E ko na quality at di na kailangang mag-cut ng mga wires, so that installation would be like that of a factory-installed alarm? Sa dealer ko po kasi wala daw silang stock na ganung klase (socket-type, no wires cut)..and saan po maganda magpalagay nito? It is true na pag magpapalagay po ako ng alarm, I need to but an extra "actuator" for the central locking mechanism? Pwede po bang maayos naman pagka-install sa internals ng car kahit may extra actuator sya?
    2) Is it advisable to replace the stock stereo unit po ng Innova and improve sound quality ng audio system or do I need to replace the stereo unit and speakers? Di naman po ako masyadong audiophile but I'm convinced I am not satisfied with the current stock audio setup ng Innova ko.

Replies will be very much appreciated, mga sirs. Thank you..

Regarding AT. It is common practice to full press brake before changing to 'drive' position. But at times when im in full stop, i occassionally change gear from 'neutral' to 'drive' position without pressing the brake and i felt a little jerking when i change to drive position. normal lang ba ito? pwede ba i-adjust para mawala ung jerking?

First time ko din mag AT. yan din napansin ko. parang may tumulak sa iyo . ganun lng talaga siguro yun sir. di katulad kasi ng manual e natitimpla mo. yun ang pagkaintindi ko. anyway nasanay naman na ako for 2 months na. Im so happy na AT ang kinuha ko para sa ganitong sasakyan. loving my white pearl habang tumatagal.

Congrats on your new ride bro! did you get the V variant?
Maybe talagang dapat press muna ung brake before changing to drive position. Kailangan full press din ang brake kung light press lang, may jerking pa rin.

Ah, I see.. I had the notion that Toyota dealers have all but the same brands for their accessories. Thanks, Dr. D! :shake:

alam ko jan kahit sa casa ka magpakabit, same procedure din ang gagawin compared if sa labas ka magpakabit...price outside is of course cheaper by 50-70% than casa...u can try cobra, autopage, viper, etc alarms outside...kung sa casa gagawin yan,mag-cut din nman ng wires yan, kasi kung may adaptor or plug-in lang,e di sa outside market meron na rin nun...

still it is on your own disposition if you'll risk to void the electrical warranty by going to outside autoshop and save a lot of money or sa casa ka pakabt but for sure,t will cost you a lot...ako after 2 months na makuha ko unit ko,sa labas na ko nagpakabit ng alarm & sensors....hope to c the new ones her sa next EB..good day..

items #2-7 are standard freebies...actually they come with the unit talaga pag binili mo...cguro just try to nego more with the cash discount if cash mo bibilhin yung unit mo..then canvass ka how much mga accessories sa kanila...of course expect the prices to be way above prices sa outside market...if i were in your shoes, i'll bring home my cash discount then bili ako sa labas ng mga accessories...daming accessories na nyan..

Sir you should never shift from P or N to any drive (1, 2, D, R, etc) gear without fully pressing the brake pedal. Baka po masira A/T nyo. It should be in the vehicle manual.
