I've beeen driving AT's for 10 yrs and it's a must that you press on the brakes when shifting from N to D or from N to R to P so that your car won't suddenly move forward or bacakward and your foot is not stepping on the accelerator pedal The jerking motion is normal as the gears are engaging. Just read your manual as it's explained there.

Just want to ask about the automatic climate control. Talaga ba ang maximum setting ng temperature is 28 degrees?

Thanks, bro.. Might as well go for the non-casa installation then--for very practical reasons..

Normal ba yun?

One more thing when naka stop ka sa traffic always shift to Neutral or N. Never make it a habit na naka Drive tapos naka preno. Malakas makasira ng tranny yan.

yes, naging habit ko na un. i used to drive a manual vehicle before kaya nakasanayan ko na ilagay parati sa neutral. maka save din daw sa FC.

Paano kapag naka full stop ka di ba nakaapply handbrake, tas shift from N to D then remove hand brake. Alam ko lang kasi basta dapat pag maglilipat ng gear ay dapat nakastop specifically from N - D vice versa and pati yung sa R -D v.v. or R - N v.v. Sensya na newbie kasi with an Innova E A/T. Thanks.

HTH.

Medyo nalito ako dito. Do you mean that when you shift from N to D while preasing he brake pedal nakakasira ito ng transmission? And magkaiba ba ang foot brake sa brake pedal?

Pag naka handbrake ka step on the brake pedal first then shift to D then release the handbrake then the brake pedal. The reason why you should press the brake pedal before shifting to D is to prevent you from accidentaly stepping on the accelerator pedal while shifting gears to avoid rearending the vehicle in front of you. As you can see may jerking motion yan when you shift from N to D.

Full press muna ang brake pedal then shift from 'N' to 'D' position then release ung brake pedal. Ang nakakasira ay ang hindi pag press ng brake pedal ung transfer na agad from 'N' to 'D'.

Okay i get what you mean. Yung footbrake ay parang handbrake lang yan kaya lang it is applied with the foot.

Maybe talagang dapat press muna ung brake before changing to drive position.

G Variant sir. congrats also. Buti AT din kinuha nyo. Saka lang ako Nag N pag complete stop then I always press the brake pero ramdam pa rin yung jerking na parang tinapik ka sa balikat . I think its normal kasi gagalaw na kagad yung gulong once na dumaan sa R at D yung gear selector...

Ask ko lang kung ok lang na mag shift ng oil from fully synthetic to mineral oil for D4D engine? If ok, need ko pa ba ng flush b4 mag change oil.?

    Thanks!
Di ako expert pero kung ako lang no need to flush lalo na kung wala naman foreign substance na nakapasok sa engine mo like sabon. Also depende din sa current condition ng engine mo. kung wala naman problem better not to do it. better ask a mechanic.
