What product/s did you use to maintain that shiny original paint? I remember my 2012 Innova before I sell it the white Pearl paint already has those manilaw nilaw.(is your headlamps still oem?)

I actually used a lot of products
Carnauba paste wax from turtle wax
3m synthetic wax applied twice a month
And yes my headlights are oem and planning of replacing the lens because it starting to yellow

oem from casa at 200? that's cheap, considering that's about how much i get mypair of generic refills from the mall.

i haven't attempted to remove or tighten my wiper arms, because i haven't had the reason to do so yet.
but looking at mine, i believe you can click open the plastic cover at the base of the arm. this should expose the retaining bolt. perhaps it got loose in yours, hence the loose wiper arm. tightening it should be easy.

maluwag yung passenger side 17 in wiper blade nung kabayo ko. pinalitan ko ng bago at mahigpit uli. kung di ako nagkakamali, plastic yung retainers (or holder) na nagcoconnect sa steel arm ng wiper. malamang talo si plastik kay bakal. hook type arm.

btw, bosch (graphite) wiper blade 17 in for P220 tapos P260 sa 20 inch yung nabili ko. tried also the refills years ago. in my case hindi masyado tumagal. or baka near its expiry date na siguro yun (rubber) kaya nagkaganun.

Need help with my 2008 Innova E Gas AT...

I noticed that my RPM is fluctuating (parang nawawalan ng power). It usually happens when I'm cruising at a steady pace in low RPM.

I also experienced it several times upon starting the engine. Normally, when we start a cold engine mas mataas talaga yung RPM until the temp normalizes. But it stays right above 1000rpm until it eventually goes down to its normal rate. But sometimes, I experience heavy fluctuations ranging somewhere between 500rpm to 2500rpm.

What could be the problem? Is it my battery or my spark plug?

among others..... how's your fuel filter, po? did it come with the car, from the factory?
...probably not the battery..
yes, check sparking plugs for fouling, etc.

I don't remember having my fuel filter replaced ever. I kinda assumed it was being done every time I have the vehicle serviced in the case (that was long time ago, i don't get service from the case anymore).

I'll just have the fuel filter and spark plugs checked.

May ginawa na bang repair sa Innova mo, particularly sa likod?

Pwede rin baka loose yung chassis grounding point sa area ng tail light. Sometimes, repair folks don't put it back properly upon reassembly.

Sir oj88, ang ginawa palang sa Innova ko sa likod is yun nilagayan ng parking sensor nun bago bili palang siya. Hindi ko naisip na baka yun grounding point is loose. I'll check that area. Thanks!

There is good chance that discounts will be offered to clear the inventory of old models.

When we bought our in November 2012, we got a total of 100K discount (in cash, not in kind).

Better ask several dealers what their offers are.

Meron ba sa inyo na nakapag-remove nung parang blue film dun sa body cladding ng toyota niyo (see attached)? Para saan ba yun? Is it there to serve for a specific purpose i.e. reflector, protection etc? May mga nakikita kasi ako na wala na yun exposing the chrome finish (looks good lalo na kung Black yun ride). I tried to pry on the film medyo mahirap siya tanggalin so left it as it is. Any thoughts? Thanks!

It's just a protective sticker para di magasgas during manufacturing and assembly. Parang protective film sa mga LCD displays na bagong bili. I removed mine a few days after receiving my car. Nung una nag-dalawang isip din ako kung tatanggalin. Tinanggal ko na rin kasi marami akong nakikita sa daan na wala nang sticker... maayos naman.

Besides, mas maganda kung naked chrome lang dahil terno sa ibang chrome parts.

Kung nagpalit ka na ng fuel filter, baka kelangan mo lang i-reset ang computer box mo. google mo lang kung paano. madali lang naman yun.

i have been using mineral oil for 10 years and over 110K km now. engine still works fine..
