someone already described here, step by step, how to turn that filter warning light off. use the search engine to find it, sir.
when that happened to me, i replaced the entire fuel filter assembly in disgust. at that time, the procedure i mentioned hadn't been uploaded yet..

nangyari din sa akin ito few months ago. nag research ako ng konti sa you tube. i check the MAF sensor akala ko madumi, kita pa naman ang metal kaya hinde ko na ginalaw, then nung binalik ko yung connector simula nun hinde ko na na experience yung fluctuation ng RPM. siguro na reset yung connection sa ECU. ingat lang sa MAF sensor at sensitive ito, it needs special cleaner at hinde pwede ang carb cleaner.

Need help with my 2008 Innova E Gas AT...

I noticed that my RPM is fluctuating (parang nawawalan ng power). It usually happens when I'm cruising at a steady pace in low RPM.

I also experienced it several times upon starting the engine. Normally, when we start a cold engine mas mataas talaga yung RPM until the temp normalizes. But it stays right above 1000rpm until it eventually goes down to its normal rate. But sometimes, I experience heavy fluctuations ranging somewhere between 500rpm to 2500rpm.

What could be the problem? Is it my battery or my spark plug?

i have been using mineral oil for 10 years and over 110K km now. engine still works fine..

i replaced the filter early on.. perhaps less than 20K, because the warning light flashed. i read the manual... baka may tubig daw.. i first did the pumping away, to no avail. so i changed the filter. ganun pa rin. not knowing what else to do, i replaced the entire filter and holder assembly. nawala ang ilaw finally. and i haven't replaced the filter again, even after more than 100K...
years later, somebody posted here how to kill that light, by doing "electrical skullduggery"...

baka nga sagad na..
also, if the fuel filter is clogged, it may show up during high speed running, and not in slower speed running..
i have not yet gone faster than that in my diesel innova, because of my "bad heart" and "defective right foot"...

is the silinyador floored, already?
perhaps if you remove the mat, you can further depress the pedal...?
it happened to me before.. didn't go as fast as it did before.. i found out that the second mat i put in, was in the way.
(i didn't want to subject the original mat to wear and tear, hence the cheap mat i installed..)

Try replacing your fuel filter it may be dirty/clogged
Haven't experience that with my m/t diesel innova.
Is it a manual or a/t?

kung di na kuha sa pagpalit ng fuel filter, clogged fuel pump na po yan. changed mine after 80k

Don't just blindly change parts without going through the motions of diagnosing it first. If the pump and/or fuel pressure regulator is faulty, it won't give the correct pressure. So the obvious step here is to check the fuel pressure. If the pressure is within specifications, then you'll know that the problem is elsewhere.

with engine off, hugutin yung electrical connector sa may fuel filter-priming pump assembly.

with key on "ON" position, pagkatpos ng ilang segundo lang (2-3 seconds or more pa siguro) e ireconnect yung tinanggal na electrical connector.

kung ayaw pa rin mag-off. subukan mo uli.




kung ayaw talaga, takpan mo na lang ng tape yung tapat nung ilaw.....joke lang.
