To those who have attempted to change their tires from 205/65R15 to 205/70R15, any apparent pros and cons doing so in terms of ride quality and drive performance?

I do know that it will affect the speedo, which the higher-profile tires will probably make it more accurate, in fact.

My tires are getting a little long in the tooth so I'm looking to change them out sometime next year.

    Any drivability issues? Tire rubbing?

If any, what improved and what got worse?

Maganda yung gear ratio ng Innova with the stock tires. I wouldn't mess with it. Went to Tagaytay Highlands with my cousin a looong time ago and hirap na hirap sya to keep up with me even with a much lighter load. Especially on the steep inclines. He had the 205/70r15's and I had stock tires on.

If you want better ride quality I'd get better same sized tires and shocks instead. Or consider 215/65r15 if available. Stick to tires with the same or close to the same load rating as OE. The ones marked commercial will ride a lot rougher (ex. 205/65r15c)

^maybe hindi ka naman niya hinahabol? or sliding clutch, driver factor, etc.

ang laki kasi ng fender gap on the 1st gen kaya balak ko din palitan to 205/70, or get an OEM 16s set from the 2nd gen, or get 17s - in order of comfort

I do, my tire is exactly 4 years now. No significant changes nman except that for me better stance cia since mejo malaki gap ng fender. And of course need to replace, too, the spare tire with same size.
