    ABV - Air Bypass Valve

The problem with CAIs is when traversing floods. Since placing the intake lower than usual - it is quite vulnerable to gulping water and this can cause engine failure.

The ABV is the answer - it is a mini air filter (located in the intake pipe) which detects if a vacuum is present (and that the filter is suckin in water) and air flows thru it instead of the air filter.
    thanks mazdamazda

yung innova is nasa loob ng fender ang air intake nya, is this already cold enough for the engine?

what about an intercooler for gasoline engine? is this possible?
i noticed that i feel more power/torque during the night than in the afternoon..

if you change the mags and tires, you only void the suspension, shock absorber and maybe other parts related to steering (ie. tie rod)

Toyota even admits na marami ng revos ang nagreklamo. My revo is barely 2K in the odometer. When going on a curve na may konting lubak sa kalye, I can hear a sharp "tok" on the rear right side of the tailgate. But doesnt happen all the time. So how can I complain this? This time, I hear a continuous dull "tudtudtud" sound, at first akala ko tools, rear seat belt hitting the plastic moldings. Eventually, I asked someone to sit at the back and pinpoint where the sound was coming from. SHEETTT!! Its coming from the tailgate!!!
the tailgate design of the innova is now different from the revo, rubber na lang yung sa side ng innova, hindi kaya maluwag na yung lock sa gitna? try to spray siguro ng wd40 kung makatulong,

or dalhin na sa casa para ma-check, then update po ninyo kami dito

Nagcanvass rin ako last week dito sa mga car accessories stores sa Malugay St. (Makati) for my Innova J. They have power windows kit also (for two front doors only) at P3,800 sa Golden Bridge (ask Lucy tel. 812-4575) price includes installation. Inside the nice box, I saw 2 sets of servo motors/actuator mechanism and rocker switch - all for internal installation (i.e. inside door).

May isang store na may old-style na external box na sinasalpak lang sa bolt ng window lever pero mukhang baduy kasi may mga owners daw na ayaw pabaklas yung pinto nila. Check mo na lang.

I think the price is the same as the one mentioned in Fortuner thread, around 35K

Cause both Fortuner G and Innova G seats are identical if i'm not mistaken...

*Innova_Boy: What stop gap measure did you do to correct the missing wheel well cover at the right front wheel? All the IMV units in RP are missing that cover, eh...

    WBR,
Don't you get worried about the sandblasting effect on your right foglamp by road debris picked-up by the tire during highspeed?

    This one's from Thailand

By the looks of it, I don't think there was ever a wheelcover designed. Face it, has anyone seen one yet?

One tsikoteer mentioned in this thread that Summer75 managed to get one from her dealer.

As per the dealerships the wheel well cover was removed to gain access to the chassis number etched on the frame.

I am planning to get some rubber matting and have it customized to fit as a wheel well cover. I'll just get some extra clips to snap it in place. I just needed to know if anyone has tried doing the same for their IMV units.
