Saan po ba radiator cap ng Innova? Normally kasi sa taas lang ng radiator di ba? parang wala ako nakikita kaya kala ko puro coolant lang laman ng radiator ng innova.

Ako inside and out, for VVTi- Gas Variant nagtutubig yung tail pipe end kaya kailangan pinturahan yung loob ng pipe.



Sa lower portion ng radiator may drain plug.



If you have D4d variant walang radiator cap yata, you just need to fill it up on the reservoir.

If you have VVTi, may radiator cap ito. pero you should fill it up on the reservoir also.

Hindi ko ito napapansin. Kasi the reservoir tank is easily visible that you can readily verify if ok.

sir mile d4d po makina ko... para kasing me dalawang litrong coke lang sya na bote sa gilid then tubo diretso na sa radiator... me pang drain ba sya sa baba?

Ako sa gas station ako nagpapalit ng coolant, bili lang ako ng Caltex Red Concentrated Coolant (P400.00) at Distilled water sa grocery. Labor charge ng gas station sa amin ay P50.00 lang, kasi sinasabay ko na yan sa change oil.

follow-up question lang mile2, do I have to use sandpaper to take the rust first before spraying the paint or If it is ok to spray rightaway without using the sandpaper. thank you

Better to wipe the affected parts with rust converter or Turco and then wipe dry before you spray it with VHT.

[SIZE="4"]Caution:[/SIZE] Before paint spraying, do cover your car's body or any part of your car that you would not wanted to get over sprayed on. You would not want to damage your car's body paint with over sprayed paints.

Ahh . . D4D nga sa akin kaya pala wala radiator cap. Yung reservior na sinasabi nyo sir, yun yung lalagyan ng coolant? Yun yng nasa right side ng radiator kung nakaharap sa makina?

alam ko paulit ulit na tong tanong na ito dito sa forum pero i just want to have more info regarding fuel consumption ng innova.

what is the average FC of innova 2.0 vvti, manual transmission, 2010 model for city driving and highway driving. yung sa akin kasi eh initially 7.5-8km/l mixed city & highway tapos after nung 1000km PMS ko eh naging 6.5-7km/l na lang ang FC ko.

ok naman driving habits ko, normally shifts at 2.0-2.5 RPM at di rin mabigat paa ko sa gas pedal.

*dongding -- that's true. average FC is actually like that. however, i've been experimenting lately and i found out that when i steadily drive at 60 km/h, my FC got better with 10.3 km/L (combined city 30% & hi-way 70%). of course ung steady 60 eh pag nsa hi-way n. i usually drive 42 km daily.

my FC also is better when i'm driving continuously and not stop&go. that's why long drives are more efficient.

*mile2 -- hi sir. i really admire your expertise in maintaining our innovas. just like everyone here, i would really love to give the best care i can to my innova.. but my experience is very shallow. i'm planning to do PMS's outside casa. i'll ask nln later what to do when i'm at 45k PMS na. just had my 40k PMS lang kasi.. or may dapat bang gawin within that 5k odo reading? nothing unusual nmn so far though i really don't check everything regularly.

I got the same FC using my new 2.0 VVTi A/T ride (less than 10k mileage). Cruising speed lang dapat and not too much on the gas and brake pedals. HTH

yup plus 1 dito sa tip ng driving habit... once i also experienced this sa d4d engine ko... 1am cruising * 60kph edsa papuntang terminal 3 galing ng galleria... actually nag register sa 15km/liter.... point is mas matipid pag tuloy tuloy saka hindi galit ang makina...

hay sana alang traffic sa manila... layo siguro nararating ng isang litro natin hehehehehe...

I also do agree with you on this one.... letting the engine speed up in itself; dont try to push your gas pedal too hard, let it cruise until it speeds up to its finest; I do this everyday going to work & coming home from work.... I just stay on 4th gear from the time I enter SLEX let it speed up & cruise from 80-120-130 km/hr with no change of the way I step on the gas pedal.... oh yes I also drive a d4d Innova....

Meron ba kayong alam na replacement na door window trim, yung rubber trim sa ibaba ng door window, kalawang na kasi yung sa akin, nag warp na dahil kinalawang yung ilalim na metal ng rubber... sa Toyota Dealer Parts kasi P3K ang isa, eh dalawa papalitan ko.. thnks

Mga bossing paki explain naman po. Di ko kasi magets eh. Sabi kasi nila matagtag daw ang 17in rims compared sa stock rims ng innova? Bakit? Sabi nila kasi raw mas manipis.

mas mataas naman yung 17in rims kumpara sa stock rims pero bakit mas tatagtag pag 17 in rims ang gamit?
