is this fine? meron pb or may labis? hehe! i'm just wondering how do we really know if they changed all the things that need to be changed. haha! or talagang TIWALA nln?!

40t km check up reg. oil labor 1,428
toyota car care kit 224
ps fluid 262
motor oil 931.62
oil filter 425.6
spark plug 364.44
air filter 1,084.04
fuel filter 3,025.90
t-IV (automatic transmission fluid) 1,228.92
diff. gear oil 484.92
coolant 899.58
brake fluid 347.6
drain plug gasket 28.28
drain cock oring 25.10

--in total 10760 but if synthetic oil it'll be around 13500 with the same breakdown. TIA
Parts prices seems standard casa charges.

Since you mentioned you have a J M/T, I'm just wondering what would they do with t-IV (automatic transmission fluid) 1,228.92?

For M/T. oil is 75W90 and would consume about 2.2 liters only, differential oil is 85W90 and about 3.4 liters only. Therefore your transmission oil price quote should be less than the differential oil quote.

(pabalik balik na ako sa toyota) we have 4 innovas dito sa company namin and all of them meron ganitong problem.

anyone who can claim that his/her innova does not experience this?
Hi po.

Based on my experience mukhang karaniwan yang problem na yan sa mga sasakyan. I also experience that on my Inno. Basta naka On ang Aircon. This is just based on my observation & experience!

I don't think the engine sound will vary much with the quality of fuel unless the quality is so poor that it'll wreck your engine. Traditionally, diesel engines are noisy but with the introduction of newer designs, the engine noise has improved. Hyundai/kia crdi engines have less noise than the toyota d4d. Actually, I find the conventional Mitsubishi diesel engines to be quieter than the other conventional brand, like ISUZU. Can we EASILY distinguish quality differences between diesel fuel brands? I don't think so.

Good morning guys dito nako magtatanong kasi wala naman nagrereply sa HiAce thread.

2. So kung parehas sila mas malakas bumatak ang Innova since mas maliit ang body nito?

As far as I know furtuner,innova,hi-ace,hi-lux of toyota the same engine

DI ko sila kaya habulin with my innova kahit 3 to 4 passengers lang sakay ko included me.
For me.. Medyo mas mabilis ang Hi-Ace kahit na same engine with my innova.. Just my opinion.. but here saludo ako sa HI-ace gradia..
sila ang hari sa daan tuwing long distance.. ok!!!!!!!!!!

I too have that problem on my 2010 innova, I intentionally put a cigarette at the rear a/c water drain outlet. nag amoy sigarilyo kagad sa likod.

Bakit ganon design nito? Walang hose?

heres what toyota have done to my car:
1. totally sealed the air vent on right rear of the car. (this is where the excess air in the cabin exits). Still the problem exists.
2. totally sealed the air vent on the left rear of the car. problem still exists.
3. sealed the holes (chasis) at the bottom of the car. rear portion. problem still persists.
4. sealed the back portion of the right tail light. this is the portion where the electrical wiring from the tail light enters the car's body.

here's what i did:
1. sealed the surrounding area where the hose is located (rear aircon)

I havent tested yet. If this thing doesn't work then the hose is the one who sucks air inside the cabin. we need to find a hose na one way lang ang flow ng air.

Previously had this problem but was resolve.

Problem was from front shutter vent being clogged with debris (dried leaves and twigs). What I did was run the car on highway with open shutter for a few kilometers and way back home I checked the cabin filter and it did catches all the debris. From thereon no more outside fumes.

Sir Mile,

My (Diesel A/T)Innova's fuel consumption is really bad. City driving is only 7km/l at pinaka tipid na driving mode na yan including turning off aircon. Casa told me they will check the pressure(not sure what area/part). Do you think they can still correct/fix this?

Thanks!

Another inquiry sir, Ano po talaga recommended tire pressure sa Innova natin? Manual says front 33 back 33 (36 if loaded). Did you follow this recommendation?

Sometimes fully loaded ako and sometimes not. So I'm looking for a more suitable tire pressure for everyday drive.

Hi Wolfhound,

I think what they meant was, they would check the pressure pump on the the fuel system and ECU mapping. If your unit was still under warranty, they should have it fix at no cost excluding consumables like fuel filter and cleaning agents.

But I guess 7km/li on city driving is normal within Metro Manila traffic on A/T tranny, though I maybe wrong.

BTW, I'm driving a VVTi 2.0 M/T on Bi-Fuel (LPG and Gasoline). Mixed city and highway was 8-10 Km/li on LPG and 9-11Km/li on Gasoline.

I'm also driving with 9 adults daily and my tire pressure is 33PSI (front and back). At 36PSI I feel it was too stiff for comfort.
