Explore before you complain, just noticed that the radio has a remote control and I only found out when I opened the pouch inside the glove compartment. Couple of days ago, I was telling my wife why Toyota never included a remote considering the cost of a model G

Guys is this for the G and V models only or does the remote control comes across all variants? Mine is E and I'm pretty sure the stereo doesn't have a remote control otherwise the sales agent should have mentioned it to me when I picked up my unit.

mine is G variant and got together with the HU remote control on purchase. check po sa manual ninyo

Our Innova E (diesel) arrived last weekend.

Before, I doubt that E variant have ABS
( as what is written on toyota website's specs of E ).
We're just after the power lock and window of the E
variant which J doesn't have.

As what the SA said and sales point,
Innova E now includes ABS.

Didn't expect to get ABS as added feature
on our E ;-)

Hi Timo07. I asked Toyota Marikina SA aboout installing a filter in my unit kasi may nakita akong brochure dun regarding evaporator filters.He told me that it has to be fabricated sa unit ko since i acquired my unit October 06 and this is very costly and then i recal him saying that new units now already have filters in the evaporators. Try asking kasi kung may filter na unit mo i guess yun lang ang lilinisin or replaced at di na kailangan linisin pa ung evaporator fins at baklasin. Kung meron swerte mo at malas naman may old units

Hi Kulaz! Bought my unit November of last year at Toyota Marikina. Yes, my unit already has an aircon filter. What I'm trying to determine now is if an Innova has a second evaporator unit, which I think is a common setup for AUVs. If it does, the next question is "is the filter common for the evaporators"? Kasi the manual only shows a single filter at the back of the globe compartment. Maitanong nga sa Marikina.

Regarding sa pagbabantay, I think some Toyota dealerships do not really allow customers to view their vehicles while being serviced. It is a good thing that for Toyota Marikina, the service bay is open and they do not prevent customers from inspecting the vehicles. That's one of the reason I chose Toyota Marikina. Suggestion ko to all vehicle owners, try to monitor your vehicles while being serviced. Hindi komo trained ang mga technicians eh alam nila palagi ang gagawin or magiging maingat sila. Believe me, I prevented quite a number of possible mishaps just by watching the technicians working on our old liteace!! I know that sometimes your schedule will prevent you from doing this, but try to do it every now and then. We need not be experts in vehicle servicing or repair, just by instinct we can sometimes tell na may mali and we have the right to point it out to the technicians or Service Advisors.

Congrats on your new ride! The ABS on the E variant is one of the reasons I chose the Innova over the Kia Carens. Added safety feature baga!

Ano kayang release date ng Innova ang may mga filter na? Mahirap din kasi pag masyadong maraming tinatanggal sa paglinis ng AC. Cause din ito ng mga squeaking sounds sa dashboard.

Mukhang 2007 releases already has this filter. Your manual should tell you kung meron nang filter and also, when you open the globe compartment, there is a sticker with instructions pasted at the side, I think its on "how to remove the element" yata. Although it will definitely limit the frequency of cleaning the evaporators, I still think that it will be necessary at some point in time. You are right, hindi dapat baklasin ng madalas ang dashboard.

Got my unit Oct 06, but it is already 2007 model with honey comb grills and wheel well cover, It does have aircon filter element just behind the lower glove compartment. Instruction on how to remove and clean was on page 179 of the user's manual.

I agree metallic beige is even harder. good thing it was still served to me end of january 2008.

Actually i got my unit September 30 2006 and mine is 2007 na din kasi ang alam ko lahat ng black is already model 07. my unit also have honey comb grill and wheel well but without filter. Malaking tulong sana ang filter. Anyway, i just make it a point to keep the carpet on the front passenger side vacuumed regularly since this is the main source of dust that gets into the evaporator. i also do the same at the carpet near the back intake vents. This is juct to extend my first general cleaning of the ACU and my dashboard's virginity

Just got an Innova E 2.0 vvti.

Here are the upgrades:
1. Now comes with a driver-side airbag and
a four spoke steering wheel
2. seatbelt warning
3. lights on warning buzzer

These add-ons are also available for the E diesel variant.

Same exterior trim as in previous E model.

Just got an E (Diesel) too, a week ago.

Not sure if previous E (diesel) already includes ABS as safety feature.
If not, then we can add the ABS as an upgrade to the 2008 E variant.

After driving for 11 days, just refilled my juice today and got a 8.05 km/l FC for my diesel variant. Big big difference as I used to top at close to P2300-2500 and now it is down to P1700.00. Not bad at all.

I think we got the same sales talk from our SA too .
Toyota Pampanga also offered us a light green
E innova that same week too and was about to
accept the offered unit,though it was not the color
we wanted and ordered, because we're after the
january 30K promo . The following day after the
SA offered the unit, one family member read on
a newspaper that toyota's promo got extended until
February. We told the SA that we'll just wait
for our ordered unit (E variant -Blaze color), since our
order got alloted the following month(February) already.
Given enough time to wait, few days after, we were
informed by the SA that the last E allotment for january
will arrive and he's not sure with the color. I think, that same
day too the agent confirmed that the last E allotment for January
was of blaze color. Our Innova E was released 2nd day of February.

Not sure if it was just one of the sales strategy of a dealer to
sell cancelled order. If not, then I'll begin to believe that even
toyota dealer doesn't have any idea what color for a certain variant
will be alloted to them.
