fc is understandable it still fuel efficient than most 1.6 sedan gas fed + its diesel cheaper than gasoline... given that limitation of load ok lang mam i can cope with it,only got 2 kids and we're not the type of when going places brought lots of things, only necessities(less 50kg)...

Mostly change oil and tightening sa ilalim. Kung may naramdaman ka namang kabig (left/right), you can ask them to check para ma-wheel alignment kung kinakailangan. Dapat covered pa ito at walang charge except kung nagpalit ka ng mags/tires from stock. After 1,000 Kms, hindi na ito covered ng warranty.

Finally brought my 3 week old Innova G d4d to Baguio last Thursday. I got an 11 FC going up and 12km/l going down. Playing with the pedal between 130-140kph at the most just to do better with the break-in. I just installed a Coby dvd player with Tv tuner to the delight of my kids as it kept them company all along. 2 Dora CDs and 1 Hills season 3 complete did the trick for me. I also installed a very simple external antenna that did wonders for the TV reception and a wireless transmitter for sound to use the stereo speakers. Left Manila at 2 am last Thursday and I was at Jollibee Session by 630am waiting for the shop to open for breakfast. Geez , I forgot all about the PMA homecoming and our planned reservations got messed up. Ended up staying in the quiet Mile Hi Inn and it was very cold day in and out. Me and my wife, 2 kids age 12 and 4 plus a nanny enjoyed the wide space of the Innova. Going up, I spent P910 for diesel from Paranaque and P1200 before I reached home including moving around in Baguio in 3.5 days. Great savings from my Escape that consumes almost P2700 of gas last 2007.

The torque was incredible considering that we had a full load going up. I was playing cat and mouse with a SIR civic who was right behind me at 5am complete with HID. Obviously, took the upperhand but I was most surprised to catch up with him before Marcos Highway. Probably, his girlfriend wanted to enjoy the ride and told the driver to slowdown. Not me as I was looking forward to my breakfast that morning grin:

Will bring her to Toyota Makati for her first 1000pms. And yes, I will just go for regular oil as I know it can do the job

Just a quick observation, the interior is very prone to dirt after a long trip. I just had to wipe it with my moist 3m hand towel to keep it clean.

hello co innova owners, share ko lang expirience ko sa king ride last vacation(december 2007). power is great and FC is the main reason how i like this van.,I full up my tank from pangasinan(1,700 petot)we're heading up to the airport, left there(tayug town)at 11:00 am and reach airport at 4:00 pm with one meal stop,by 9:00 pm travalled from manila to nueva vizcaya with 9 people on board (8 adults + 1 kid + luggage)we reach bagabag, nueva vizcaya 4 am with 2 stop overs, stay there in two days and back to pangasinan again without refuelling!its amazing perpormance for a diesel fed engine like toyota innova,I found out in my trip meter that we travelled 900+km., fastest speed ko is 120 km/h.,mine is 2006 innova d4d E m/t.had my 15kpms last jan 15 2007.

tanong ko lang po sana kung ano po yung better way of cleaning or polishing chrome materials? having a hard time cleaning them.

how much is a sidestepboard? it will greatly help for the elderly since our innovas are quite high.

how long does it normally take for the plate to be released?

    comments are greatly appreciated..

    many thanks!!

AFAIK, there were no upgrades on J and that's the reason
why we opted the E instead of the J. We're about to
settle with the J, coz base from our computations the accessories
upgrade price on a J variant won't reach the the SRP difference of
E and J. The added safety features on the E variant made us
change our minds and instead opted the E variant. These
features balanced the equation of the SRP difference and
accessories upgrade price ( if not, made the E a better buy than the J ).

Check this link about this E upgrade promo:

    Justin27,

for Chrome materials, try using Glo. It's very effective. Shines like new when applied.

For the stepboard, I'm think it's P6K plus from CASA.

For the plates, it depends on your dealer. My unit was released 3rd week of April 2007 and got my plates, stickers, copy of CR/OR 4th week of June 2007. That's more than 2 months. Some dealers can release plates/or/cr/sticker within a month.

About the stepboard, the P6k plus from CASA, is it already a pair or per piece?

for chrome materials, cleaning them regularly makes it easy. you can use metal polish (glo) if you are not satisfied with the regular carwash.

for the stepboard, it's P 6k+ at casa but would be a lot cheaper if you have them installed directly by, let's say, shark. They have their outlet at edsa near proj 7 intersection. Stepboards are also good for small kids.

for license plates, it depends on your dealer. got mine in three weeks. we have a corporate account with them so they may be trying to impress us. possible reasons for delays would be: delay in the release of certificate of stock report (or whatever that is), delay in the processing in their own lto division, or probably there are really no available plates, especially if there is a request for specifric ending number.

hello innova owners.. i've been busy a long time and i wasn'nt able to make a post reply sa ibang thread. i have questions, mine is innovaGd4d 2 yrs old na and 40k na mileage. i noticed na humina na yung A/C ko, specilally sa simula. pag tumagal naman malamig na, kaso yung adjustan ko ng A/C nasa 80% na. i also noticed na madalas mag-automatic yung compressor ko kahit d pasya malamig sa loob? anyone experienced it? madalas ko din madinig yung click na tunog. di kaya kulang na sa charge na freon or madumi na? i had my 40kpms last month and SA include A/C enhancer sa gagawin sa compressor as part on 40k pms. i told thier manager about my A/C and he told SA to remove A/C enhancer sa gagawin and advised me to go A/C cleaning na daw at dun na isabay yung A/C enhancer (i think cost of A/C enhancer is around 2,900 yata). 3 days daw gagawin A/C cleaning dahil ang hirap daw ng design ng innova. dapat baklas dashboard pati yung nasa likod.. hay nakoh ang tagal... di ko muna pinasok para sa A/C cleaning nila. how much po ba palinis ng A/C? TIA

i had an AC cleaning and it costs around 6thou. ek ek lang yung 3 days na gagawin. mine was done the whole day. kulang sila sa tao kaya aabot ng 3 days. ang masaklap pa nyan baka ipa outsource pa sa labas yung cleaning mo. some casa does that.
