AFAIK, wala namang effect sa ride yan, at wala pa yata akong nakitang claims to that effect.
Sa mga nabasa ko nang arguments for and against Nitrogen in our tires, usually ang claims ay:
1. Better fuel economy daw, JUST BECAUSE nitrogen (95% pure) ALLEGEDLY dissipates slower than AIR (which is composed of 78% Nitrogen already). Mas malaki daw ang molecules ng pure/95% nitro kesa sa oxygen kasi. Pero mayroon pang disputes regarding that. Basahin dito:

Regarding the retention naman:
From http://www.straightdope.com/columns/070216.html :
Another claim I've seen is that since nitrogen is slightly lighter than air, you'll save weight and get better performance. However, we're talking about a weight difference of less than 4 percent of the gas in the tire — in other words, a difference of less than an ounce for most vehicles. A possibly more realistic benefit is that nitrogen is largely inert chemically at low (i.e., normal) temperatures, so it won't attack the rubber in your tires like oxygen does. Oxygen attack is something both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Ford Research have studied, and can be a problem for tires used for a long time or in rough conditions.
From http://blogs.consumerreports.org/car...nitrogen-.html :
The test started on September 20, 2006 and the final measurements were taken on September 20, 2007. The results show nitrogen does reduce pressure loss over time, but the reduction is only a 1.3 psi difference from air-filled tires. The average loss of air-filled tires was just 3.5 psi from the initial 30 pressure setting. Nitrogen-filled tires lost an average of 2.2 psi from the initial 30 psi setting. More important, all tires lost air pressure regardless of the inflation medium, so consumers should check their tires' air pressure routinely. No evaluation was done to assess the aging claim.
Bottom line: Overall, consumers can use nitrogen and might enjoy the slight improvement in air retention provided, but it's not a substitute for regular inflation checks.
2. Pangontra sa kalawang. Dahil ang AIR ay mayroong moisture at ang Nitrogen ay DRY GAS, mas mabilis daw ang deterioration ng goma (more than the wheel/mag/rim kung 95% Nitrogen ang kinakarga.
Mula sa http://www.straightdope.com/columns/070216.html :
Humidity can also be a factor in wheel maintenance — since pure nitrogen doesn't have moisture in it, supposedly your wheels won't rust as quickly, which could lead to improved wheel performance and air sealing. The question is, how big a problem is wheel rust these days? According to a few tire and wheel shops we contacted, not very. Seriously rusted wheels are uncommon in typical steel-wheeled cars, and many high-performance cars have alloy wheels that don't rust at all. One exception is work vehicles such as dump trucks, which are exposed to a much harsher environment.

Overall, filling up with nitrogen won't hurt and may provide some minimal benefit. Is it worth it? If you go to some place like Costco that does it for free with new tires, sure, why not? Elsewhere, though, I've seen prices quoted as high as $10 per tire, which is way more than I'd pay. Rather than shell out for nitrogen, you'd be better off just checking and adjusting your tire pressure regularly, something the NHTSA says less than 60 percent of U.S. motorists actually do.
My 2 cents: I'll take the pro-nitrogen claims with a grain of salt.
HTH...
ako naka N2 yung 4 na gulong ko. Well cruising speed di mo ramdam pero pag me lubak or magaspang na daan di siya na ganun ka tagtag. Also pansin ko di nababawasan yung tire pressure.
sige, bro.

Welcome to all the Newbies!!! don sa mga gustong umattend sa mini EB.. just check out this thread sa Avanza Sub Forum..

hello sir bisoy96 * rcastro musta na kayo diyan??? sorry at ngayon lang me naka post ulits super busy sa work eh
Ako din naka-nitro... ang benefit sa akin ng nitro is for road safety during long drive... constant kasi ang pressure ng nitro compared sa oxygen na tumataas ang pressure kapag umiinit na ang gulong mo, this can cause the tire to explode if you load your tire with in excessive pressure before you take a long trip. kaya advisable you decrease your tire pressure if your going to take a long trip if you're using oxygen on your tires.
Let's all remember that regular "AIR" consists of 78% Nitrogen, not pure oxygen.
Reminder lang.
BTW, laganap na ba ang mga nagpapakarga ng nitrogen? Wala pa kasi akong nakikita rito sa amin.
Saka, paano naman tayo makasisiguro na 99% pure nga ang nitrogen nila?

well nitro on my tires suits me well and suki na ako dun sa RA Espejo for my vulcanizing and nitro needs. At P50 a tire, ok na din kasi before everytime I have my tires check for pressure at nagpapahangin sa gas station, I give the gas boy P10.
