Like sir puroy said, medyo matagtag ang Avanza kung ihahambing sa mga sedan. When it's moderately to fully loaded, the 3rd row has lots of up and down play -- very bouncy. For the ones seated in front and in the middle row, that bounce is good. Sa mga biyahilo, I think they should not ride on the 3rd row WHEN it's loaded.

You may also do some backreading by using the "SEARCH THIS THREAD" tool for your criteria ("acceleration", "FC", "fuel efficiency", "matagtag", "comfort", etc...)

The best way, IMHO, for you to make your final decision is to test drive all your choices with your actual load (take the whole family with you, if you can).

Sa fuel consuption, the 1.3 vios wins. aside from a small engine, magaan and maliit.

Comfort, panalo ang corolla, bigger sedans typically has better ride stability.

Acceleration, depende sa power to weight ratio. di ako magugulat kung ang 1.5 VVTi na vios has more acceleration than the 1.6 VVTi Altis.

Depende talaga kung ano ang purpose ng sasakyan na bibilin mo. Kung in terms of flexibility, you can buy the avanza. Kasi you have an option to either load it up with stuff or with people.

Sa baha, mataas ang clearance ng avanza, so kung hirap na ang mga sedans, kayang kaya ng avanza.

Regarding biyahilo na pasahero. ito ang mga dapat isawan para di sila mahilo.
- sudden lane changes, dapat smooth
- sudden acceleration and sudden stops, dapat smooth
- stop and go traffic

May anak ako na biyahilo, sa avanza (me driving), bihira silang mahilo sa mga long trips namin, pero sa altis (wife driving), wala pang 2 km nahihilo na. nasa driving style kasi. lagi kong sinasabihan ang wife ko na ang "gaspang" ngyang mag drive.
