Ordinary NGK spark plugs lasts more than 20Km I think, pero ang recommended ay palit every 10K.

Naka 2 na palit na ako, 10K and 20K. I am only using ordinary NGK plugs.

BTW, nabalitaan ko na mayroon mga bad original NGK plus. Factory defect.

May kuha ako na ang distance eh .5 meters ( beep-beep) and "0" indicated. with matching object at the back. Ung "0" indicated, continuous beeeeep na pag "0" pero may allowance pa ng mga .2-.3 meters.

Naku sir sad to hear about your casa experience. I myself suffer from PMS anxiety di lang sa financial aspect but more importantly yung concern na baka may ipagawa na naman sa akin na hindi naman necessary.

I just want to share yung advise sa akin nung naka-usap ko sa casa. I was a told na since bago pa babies natin hindi pa necessary to have an oil treatment.

May anak ako na biyahilo, sa avanza (me driving), bihira silang mahilo sa mga long trips namin, pero sa altis (wife driving), wala pang 2 km nahihilo na. nasa driving style kasi. lagi kong sinasabihan ang wife ko na ang "gaspang" ngyang mag drive. [/quote]

my 20K PMS

Damaged: 9.7+K
Major work:
Change Oil (Synthetic), Tramsission Fluid and Differential gEAR oIL
New Spark plug
Wheel Alignment/Rotation (additional request)
Change Brake pads (Ok pa ang luma, gusto ko lang palitan)

Pag wala ang last two items 6+K lang sana

Sad Experience:
The mechanic removed the battery connection during the changing of Spark plug. This is not a standard maintenance procedure (inamin ng casa). Result? I cant use my radio because of Security code. The casa's recommendation after consulting TMBC (dealer), Toyota (laguna plant) and Kenwood, the radio shall be brought to Kenwood for trouble shooting. Hindi ako pumayag. I told them to replace the radio instead. After days of negotiation, naayos din ang radio. kinalikot pala ng anak ko ang security code.

Lessons learned:
1. Be aware of non-standard maintenance procedure. The resultant defects shall be the responsibility of the casa. Repairing the unit should not be the case. Demand a replacement. Remember under warranty pa ang sasakyan natin.
2. When borrowed by other drivers, ask if a setting was change or if there was unusual during the ride.

thanks for posting. di pa rin ako nagpapa15k checkup, dami gastos school opening. btw, alam ko naquote ko yong post mo something about our vacation to baguio.... nawala din sa dami siguro, anyway, sayang nga di tayo nagkita sana me guide kami di sana kami nagpaikut-ikot kasi 1st time ng husband ko to go there w/o guide puro 1way lane na. di bale baka next summer ulit.

Gusto ng service adviser mag change spark plugs di ako pumayag kasi kapapalit lang nung 10,000 kms.

zero knowledge ako pagdating sa car ,dito lang nagka idea. kaya keep on posting your experiences and promise kahit busy at parang kabute lulubog lilitaw, il get in touch pa rin. ay! sounds like islaw palitaw na yata to!

dito ko rin nalaman that topload should have additional payment of P100 on registration kaya para maiwasan ang huli nagbayad na ako sa LTO. pero P280 was charged kasi yon daw ang lumabas sa computer, di daw kasi ako don nagparegister... kung ano2 sinasabi parang system lost ng meralco. hehehe!
next renewal daw possible na 100 na lang. ewan di na ako nakipagtalo kasi nasa kabilang side ang eldest son ko nakapila for his student permit. kaya ngayon me kaagaw na ako sa baby vanzy ko sa manibela kinulit kasing ama magpaturo on his vacation. mahirap palang magbreak kung nasa passenger's seat ka sa harapan... pagbaba ko mas ngawit binti ko kesa akong nagdrive. now, medyo at ease na ako nakakapagtext na while his driving.

Hi sir, to give you an idea on how much pagawa ng leatherette seat cover. sa sm ace hardware, made to order doon. down ka lang ng 1k tapos within 3-5days ata ready for pickup na. pwede sila na rin magkabit (bigyan mo na lang ng tip yung magkakabit). all in all ang quote sakin nasa 4.5k. two-toned na daw yun. hth
