Pa-rust proofing mo, although hindi naman accessory ito, inuna ko na.

Sa accessories, I suggest unahin mo ang FOG LAMPS saka Alarm with Keyless entry. Then kung plan mong magbiyahe nang maramihan ang sakay, roof rack. A wider rear-view mirror (clip-on) is a good addition, too.

Kung ikaw ang tipong hirap sa pag-atras, palagyan mo ng reverse/back-up sensor and/or camera and/or mirror sa likod.

Kung ayaw mong mahirapan sa mga bintana, pa-power windows mo.

Tapos kung may budget pa, upgrade to mags.

For blings naman, chrome and/or power side-mirrors, chrome door handles and gas tank cover, chrome dito, chrome doon, para mas pumogi si Vanzolph (ngek). hehehe...

Sir Qwerty same coverage and premium ba yung sa Generali mo? ok na ba yung premium na 14K....I am inclined to get CASA2's offer kc lower than Generali's Premium tapos same coverage.

sa wakas, naka-plate na rin yung Avanza namin (after almost 2 months of waiting). Napa-gastos pa kami ng 1800 kasi 9-0 lang available (1-2 preferred namin). sigh

Anyways, at least sa October 2011 pa kami ulit magpapa-rehistro.

Question lang mga sir's and maam's, plan ko maglagay ng plate frame para naman di masyadong madumihan yung LTO plates ng Avanza ko. Ano po marerecommend nyo na plate frames? Saan po kayo bumili and magkano po? tia :D

parang yon sa akin di sya totally clear, lightest shade ng green. w/c is bawal daw in makati. around 500-600 yata sa kid audio

Ang ganda nito. Kayang kaya sa mga gumagawa ng stickers sa mall. Kung okey sa members, I suggest ito na ang gawin nating official sticker design.

I don't know if it's true but the insurance agent (CASA) I spoke with said that only Standard offers Acts of God.

2nd time na nakarating along makati med yong vanzy namin. 1st was last year, yong husband ko ang nagdrive w/ plate cover. 2nd was last week , ako ang me dala and so as not to catch the attention of the yellow boys, tinanggal ko muna yong plate cover although clear pa rin category mahirap nang makipagtalo pa. so far, ok naman with lots of prayers. kasali na for parking slot don. hehehe!

No, warranty wont be affected, i got my roof rock for 2.5k, but I put roof rail first from toyota bal for 7k+ (casa ako kasi di bubutasan). Malaki tulong back-up sensor, I bought it from casa uli due warranty issue 4.3k+

just got back from toyota ortigas. talked to my SA, chelo japone. i think i got an irresistible offer kaya go ko na yung purchase ko ng avanza. antay ko na lang approval ng financing nila. i was supposed to get my loan sa bdo pero sabi niya e tatapatan na lang niya yung offer ng bdo para daw less hassle at mabilis ang transaction namin. aside from std freebies like matting, seat cover, she also gave me the 3m tint, keyless entry for free!

with the spare money i still have, gayakan ko na avanza ko ng spoiler, backup sensor.

saan di na magbago isip SA para next week e may bagong ride na ako.

If you are getting an Avanza J.

Kung magpapakabit ka ng alarm, IMHO, prerequisite ang door switches sa back doors. Kasabay ng alarm, pakabit ka na rin ng key less entry.

Nice to have:
+ fog lamps
+ spoiler with 3rd brake light
+ back door speakers
+ back up sensors
+ rear camera
+ shark products

Blings:
+ headlight garnish
+ tail light garnish
+ front grill garnish
+ plate garnish
++++++ etc.

BTW, it is a good practice to get several quotes from different dealerships. I personally got 4 quotes from different dealers .

maraming ang sasabi na under power ang 1.3L na makina pero di pa nila na subukan I think. Sa mga owners ng Avanza J, wala pang nagsasabi na under power ito.

Itong 1.3 DOHC VVTi engine ng avanza J has almost the same power of a NA carburated 1.6 SOHC engine. matipid pa.

Underpower??? Nasa manner of driving lang yan bro, some of my office mate says na hindi kya ng AVANZA J na umakyat ng bagyo, I tried at nakakaovetake pa ako sa cannon road ng hindi hirap ang avanza ko. Load ko ay 6 adults and 1 kid + 2 dogs at loaded ng gamit with stroller pa.HTH

Kahit na anong makina, it all boils down to power mamagement. On flat roads, I shift up at 2,000 rpm. pero pag paakyat, I just maintain the RPM to more than 2,000, I shift up at 2,500 rpm.

Medyo mahal ang insurance. Ipasama mo na rin ang acts of god. Check mo rin kung magkano ang participation mo pag nag claim ka ng insurance.

Very nice ang 3m tint and keyless entry na freebies. Kung papayag, ipa 1 pc tint mo sa harap na wind shield. Dapat sa likod na wind shield, 1 pc din.

Kung papayag, pasama ka na rin ng payong and EWD.

BTW, nakabawi ka naman sa 20K discount.

Iyong iba kasi naka free na window visor, mud guard, etc. Ang haba na kasi ng thread, pero kung mapag titiyagaan mo, makikita mo kung ano ang mga quotes, insurance and freebies na nakuha.



Regarding shark products, get in touch with them directly. You might get a discount kung marami kang kukunin. Besides they can install ang where in MM. If I am not mistaken, free installation. Di naman sila magbubutas so di affected ang warranty.
