Good day fellow Avanza club members. I'm planning to take my family on an out of town vacation. Gusto namin i-enjoy gamitin ang Avanza at marating ang mga lugar sa Pilipinas na di pa namin narating. The most we've been to the North was Tarlac. Mula doon hindi ko na alam ang places. Gusto namin puntahan as far North as Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, at Baguio. Sa mga nakarating na doon ay please share naman ng experiences like how to get there, how long is the travel time, what to expect along the way, which places to visit at recommended places to stay para sa stopovers. Wala kasi talaga akong idea. Mga ilang araw kaya ang kailangan to do this trip? Thanks in advance sa inputs.

Where in ilocos norte do you wana go? I suggest Pagudpod beach and Fort Ilocandia, then you visit all the old churhes like the Phoay Church and some historical places like in Batac where you can see the tomb of former Pres. Marcos.. From Tarlac its the same hi-way (McArthur Hi-way) going to ilocos norte just straight ahead and watch out for road info or boundaries to know your whereabout. Take a side trip in Vigan, Ilocos Sur when you pass by. Just visit the Municipal Offices so you can get brochures and map to know historical and beautiful places in their municipality. It takes 12 hours to reach the edge of ilocos, pit stops and side trips are not included. You have to take a rest or change your driver at halfway in La-Union or in first part of Ilocos Sur Sta Cruz or Candon, or you may stay in Baguio and spend one day to savor its beauty and cool weather. Total distance including side trips 1650kM. Turn to page 253 for more info

mukhang di kasya yan.....parang walang daanan ng handbreak...meron din ako medyo maliit dyan na cooler with plug sa lighter para malamig pa din juices/drinks.

Same thing with me sa may passenger side and my nakita pa ko clip (parang butones) muka nalaglag but I cant find where it is supposed to be.

ganyan din yong sa front ko passenger's side wala ng clip kasi sira na, wala namang available sa casa... buti yong sa yo nakita mo pa.

di ko pa rin napatingnan yong cover na not totally fixed ...under the HU ang sa akin. up to now di pa ko nakapag 10k km checkup kasi way below 8k pa lang mileage ko although almost 5mos. after my 5k.

All your observations are the same as mine... but it's all depend on which cars do you want to compare the avanza. But looking at your motivation to get the avanza(Budget,FC, and capacity) pasok siya lahat dito.. I owned J variant units and i all i can say is... SULIT! It's more than 8 months old now and already clocks at 20,+++Km. ang odo. Ako yata ang pinakamabilis mag consume ng mleage dito. Try to test drive other "cars" with the same specs so you can compare. Yung 3 din na yun ang pinag basehan ko kaya i end up with avanza... and so far, no regrets! Balitaan mo kami kung ano ang naging decision mo.. Goodluck!

First off, thanks for the warm welcome. Ang bilis pala mag-back log sa mga pages na babasahin sa thread na ito. I finish one page, and two or three new pages come in

Again, my motivating factors for getting the Avanza is budget, FC, and capacity -- factors that are not readily obvious sa test drive (well, budget is pretty much a no brainer). Resale value, I presume, is not too far from your average sedan so this is secondary fo me. Now one thought haunts me: this is a major decision for me because I am not sure when I can buy another car if we grow out of the Avanza so I have to make this count -- how long will it last? Can you share your thoughts on my perception of my test drive? Or was I just expecting too much?

Sadiq, ito kararating ko lang galing sa biyahe. Trabaho na naman. Ito basa na agad ng tsikot at baka humaba pa ng humaba ang i-back read ko. Wala naman nabasa sa ilalim ng carpet siguro. Iwan ko lang baka ng natapunan ng tubig ng mga bata. Sa may center console kasi lumalabas yung mga langgam. Wala na kasi akong time kaya di ko na naasikaso.

Ako naman, kaninang umaga ko lang nakita na may namamahay din na langgam sa may center console, tinanong ko nga kay mrs kung may naiwan na pag-kain sa loob...AKAL baka talagang sakit lang ng mga 1.5G Champagne ang nababahayan ng langgam sa center console....hehehehe

Oo nga, ganun din pala sayo,,hehehe. Uy sa mga bibili ng avanza, huwag na champagne at baka magaya sa amin na binabahayan ng langgam.. jk Pero sabi nila swerte daw yun.

Nice meeting you sa parking ng Festival Mall last week. Laking tulong ng sticker. :D.

We have the same variant, an Avanza J. Mine is almost 5 1/2 months old now. Odometer is now 13,+++Km. I average at about 500 Km per week. 1 full tank is about 6 days, some times 7 days kasi di nag lalakwatsa pag week end. FC is about 13 Km per liter (mixed city and hiway). Ang route ko ay Sta Rosa - SLEX - Alabang - SLEX - C5 - Pasig this is a little more than 90 Km round trip. Hatid sundo ko si Mrs sa Alabang. Ano ang route mo daily?

Sa 10,000 Km change oil, nag full synthetic na ako sa casa.

Now na may alternate car na kami, bababa na ang distance travelled ng Avanza ko per week.

first i-full tank mo yung car then i-set mo sa zero yun odometer.kapag time mo na ulit magpa-gas kailangan i-full tank mo ulit as much as possible dun ka din sa gasolne station kung saan ka unang nagpa full tank. then get the number of liters sa huling full tank mo tapos i-devide mo na sa comsumed kilometer reading yun na yun.

ito gumawa ako ng sample for circular stiker, ano bang magandang ilagay na word? idea lang ito any suggestion? (reduce ko yong size kaya yong circle medyo sumabit!)
