*Meledson.. bale yung buong bumper.. yung tama ko sa left side pati yung tama sa right side na lumubog nang konti.. tapos yung left panel malapit sa left tail light.. yupi kasi nang konti yun.. at yung buong housing nang left tail light.. di ko lang natanong kung pati bulb pinalitan..

pinasok ko nang Saturday morning.. tapos lunchtime nang Tuesday tapos na.. bagong hugas at vaccum pa.. mga 4pm na ako dumating don para kunin.. problema lang.. coding ako pag Tuesday.. so naghintay pa ako nang 7pm.. ok lang may TV naman at kape.. hehehe

Noong kumuha ako last Aug. bibihira lang ang may makasalubong akong avanza sa daan. now nag kalat na.

now dalawa na kaming 4 kids school service ang avanza parehong champagne in color, 1.3j yon sa kanya still w/ no plate.

Finally, I got my Avanza yesterday. Delivered sa house namin at 7pm. After 2 weeks of looking for a Metallic Blue J, I settled for Champagne color, which is my first choice. Sobrang excited ang wifey and kid kahit hindi blue ang nakuha namin. We're now one of the many proud owner's of Avanza.

docguni, valenzuela ka din pala? Baka nakita ko na unit mo dito ah? Pagnakakakita kasi kami dito ng Avanza, talagang hinahabol namin ng tinggin. Kami po dito sa Pasolo/Dalandanan area.

Ask lang po ako dito sa forum kung saan maganda kumuha nga:
a. Mudguard - Mura na ba ang Php 2,200?
b. Alarm System - Kasama na ba dito ang wireless door lock ba ang tawag dun?

... i was again reminded by tyt bicutan re: my PMS for 10k km check-up. naka8k pa lang ako but 5mos.after na from my 5k. nagpasked na ako this sunday,9am. when i asked for the amount for reg. oil only .. package daw is about 3.8k ( 4lts. ang gagamitin) pwede bang i-insist sa kanila to use 3lts.only? parang may nabasa na ako dito around 4k lang payment synthetic oil? tama ba ako ... tagal na kasi di ko na matandaan.. hirap magbackreading. when i ireminded them about my carpet, they said that it would be evaluated first if papalitan before they order for replacement or aayusin lang.

* Jems - 3.8K for the 10K PMS? ano ano daw papalitan?? wala naman yatang nakalagay kung mineral or synthetic sa manual.. basta 3 liters lang nakalagay.. mag 5K PMS na rin ako next month (Feb 21 yata sched ko), balak ko rin magpa full synthetic (from mineral oil nung 1K PMS ko), baka sakaling mag improve ang FC ko..

1k and 5k pms pareho lang ang price magincrease lang sa oil kung mag pafull synthetic ka na. sa 10k...alam ko spark plugs ang nadagdag plus yong labor di na kasi free sa 10k. nakita ko na yong post ni toinktoink for his 20k checkup w/ engine detailing sya 4.1k and he insisted to put 3liters only. di lang naespecify kung reg oil or synthetic..... attention toinktoink!!! TIA

4,0xx.xx ang damage ko sa 10K na chage oil. I insisted na 3 liters lang. Sabi ko iyon lang ang kinarga sa 1K and 5k ko and iyon ang nakalagay sa manual. Pumayag ulit (different SA kasi).

The 4K includes 3 liters of fully synthetic oil, oil filter, 4 spark plugs, tune up, engine detailing and labor. naka less 10% ako kasi may VIP card ako.

For me, gumanda ang takbo ng makina ko ng nag synthetic ako. Di ko masabi kung nag improve ang FC ko kasi nagpalit din ako ng gas mula shell to caltex. Pero, I still use 93 octane. Pero it seems na nakatulong ng konti ang synthetic sa FC.

BTW, di naman kailangan na sa same casa mo dalahin ang avanza mo. As long as Toyota Casa. OK na. Di magagalaw ang warranty mo.

Mag ibang synthetic oil manufacturer na nag rerecomend na after 5K, sa iba naman 10K bago gumamit ng synthetic. Mineral oil muna. Iyong Honda Jazz ng friend ko, naka synthetic na kaagad. First change oil is 10K. Walang palit ng oil filter sa 5K. Di tulad natin na required ang 1K and 5K bago ang 10K na PM.

Carpet, di ko pa naasikaso na mapalitan.

Kung sa 5K nag synthetic na, sa 10K palit lang ang oil filter pero magdagdag ng oil. less than 1 liter, pero 1 liter ang ma charge sa iyo.

Hmmmm, puwede kaya na hingiin na lang ang tira?

Hello to all tsikoteers!
Just wanted to share my FC.
I have tried different brands of fuel (Shell, Caltex and Petron).

To measure my FC, i would usually load full tank and reset my trip meter.
Pag empty na then i would load full tank again with another brand.

Here is what i've got so far:
City Driving (heavy and crawling traffic through EDSA and Commonwealth ave.)
Petron Unleaded: 9.5km/L
Caltex Silver: 8.5km/L
Shell Unleaded: 10.5km/L

Hi-way driving with Petron Unleaded yeilded 13km/L
I have not tried other brands for long drives. Maybe next time.

I am now trying 50% Shell Unleaded (93Octane) + 50% VPower (95octante) for City Driving and so far slightly more than halftank pa ako but already travelled 242 km. If exactly 45 liters ang tank capacity, half is 22.5. But since more than half pa ang tank probably around 20 liters pa lang naconsume ko so 242km/20L = 12.1km/L ang rough estimate ko sa FC.
I'll probably get a better figure on the next full tank.

Mukang higher octane rating gives better FC.

BTW. my avanza is 1.5G Manual.

Di ba 1.5G ka? If so 4 liters oil mo coz you have bigger engine. AFAIK 1.3J lang ang 3 liters.

3 liters lang din po ni lagay sa akin nun 1K PMS. 1.5 G M/T avanza. kaya lang 5 hours ako sa Toyota Commonwealth.

BTW, un palang Center Cluster (plastic cover sa baba near the gas pedal papuntang stick shift) di daw talaga pantay. Sa lahat daw ng Avanza ganun. Pati 1.3 na display nila ganun din ang problema.

Ganon ba? Baka 3 liters nga kc masyado na compact mga engine ngayon. Dati car ko 1.5 din 4 liters e.
