Good day to all fellow Tsikoteer in this thread, particulary to all the avancer's.

I just joined Tsikot and found this thread to be very helpful, and the people very friendly and courteous.

I decided to purchase Avanza 1.3 J Blue Metallic in Toyota Balintawak when my autoloan was approved last Jan 7. However, there's no unit available yet up to now. Would you know if there are any available unit elsewhere?

Also learned somewhere that Toyota has stopped producing 1.3. Is there truth to this?

Also, can you give me a piece of your mind for the ff: accessories they qouted me:

1. Door visor - Php 2,000/set
2. Mudguard - Php 2,500/set
3. Trunklid cover - 2,200
4. Spoiler - 8,500

Lastly, what does CPTL means in the insurance? I can get it there in house for 14K.

Looking forward to be a member of the avanzaclub.ph.

CTPL = Compulsary Third party Liability

Ito ang required na insurance para sa lahat ng sasakyan. Pinaka minimum na insurance. Di ka puwedeng magpa rehistro kung wala ka nito. Ito dati ang pinagkaguluhan sa LTO na insurance. Insurance ito para sa masasaktan and/or masisira dahil sa car mo.

14K is too much for CTPL lang. Actually you can get insurance from any registered insurance company. Ang ganda lang ng in-house ay sigurado ka na certified nila ang insurance company. Pero kung gusto mong makatipid, you can get out side.

BUT. 14K is already a good quotation for an insurance (for every thing including CTPL). I-haggle mo na inclusive na dapat ang "Acts of God". Para sulit. :D

BTW, Naka Metallic Blue na avanza J ako.

Isang observation ko, sa parking, lalo na pag maaraw, stand out ang Metallic Blue. Daling hanapin.

hi akal, champagne na nakuha ko just today sa tyt-pasong tamo...anticipate ko na...lagyan ko ng chemical chalk ang avanza para di langgamin...

Nice meeting you too Pres... . and to your wife too.....
I have no normal route, so paiba iba ang FC ko. Madami kasi ako customer na ini-ikutan.. Calamba, Cabuyao, Sta Rosa, Sucat, Trece Martirez, Baguio and alabang. I just have my 20K PM yesterday. Here's the breakdown.

1,411.20 - Labor
660.32 - Engine Detailing
95.20 - Misc.
465.81 - oil(3-Liters) Gusto nila 4 liters ut i insist na ako na lang mag top up.
399.87 - Filter
550.24 - Spark plug
649.77 - Air Filter

4,172.41 - TOTAL With less 10%.

Take note : *20k kasama na sa PM ang aircon cleaning. It cost about 8K. Pina deffered ko na lang muna sa 25K kasi 3 days daw gagawin ito sa casa.
Can't afford without car in 3 days now.

Also will make a complain this am... i paid engine detail for 600 pesos, since gabi na nila natapos(Past 6pm) and hindi pa na carwash(Nag uwian na ng 6pm yung naghuhugas), when i check this morning... ang dumi ng car ko!!! andun pa rin yung mga pinagpalitan ng filter and spark plug!! At yung engine, inisprayan lang at di man lang pinunasan... dami pa rin alikabok!

Pero wala akong change ng air filter tapos 3 liters of fully Synthetic oil. Palit spark plugs and oil filter. May engine detailing din. Kaso oily ang makina pero malinis. Kaso dahil oily siya, madaling makapitan ng alikabok . Parang 1,200 ang labor and mayroon din akong 10% discount dahil sa VIP Card.

14K for CTPL?? are you sure CTPL lang yan?? baka kasama na comprehensive dyan.. kung CTPL lang yan.. sobra namang overpriced yan..

hindi lahat nang dealers nagbibigay nang VIP cards.. toyota alabang, makati, cubao, marikina and manila bay lang yata.. di ko lang alam kung ni ho honor sa ibang dealers yang VIP cards na galing sa ibang dealer... sa toyota shaw kasi tinanong ko din yan.. wala daw silang VIP cards.

actually may nag tanong na nito kong mag back read ka lang , yong ring - color ng Flag natin blue,red and yellow & yong font "avanza club pilipinas" comb. orange/yellow para clear magandang tignan lalo gawin mo na itong sticker at may nagsabi rito sa thread na mas maganda itong color at ito rin yong color ng 1st sticker natin orange.

Sa tyt balintawak bibigyan ka VIP card pag total purchase mo umabot n certain amount or nakabili ka ng 2 cars sa kanila. Pati pag services na get mo sa kanila has reached a certain amt di ko lang alam magkano.

Parang puwedeng bumili ng VIP card. kaso kung saan ito nakuha (binili o binigay) duon lang puwedeng gamitin.

Di lahat ng dealerships may Toyota VIP card.

Hi Qwerty. Meron din pala ganitong problem ang plastic part sa ilalim ng steering wheel ng iyong Avanza. Sana nga ay kaya nilang mai-align ng mabuti. Nang i-try ko kasi hilahin para isalpak ay talagang hindi ko maigalaw. Hindi ko na tinuloy subukan baka may ma-damage ako. Sumulat na ako sa Toyota Philippines at sabi dalhin ko na lang daw sa dealer ko (Toyota San Fernando Pampanga). Nag-reply na rin sa akin ang dealer na titingnan daw nila sa 1K checkup. Tingnan ko ang gagawin nilang action regarding this defect. Ganitong-ganito rin ba ang sa Avanza mo?

Has naku...hindi lang kayo ang may ganyang problema, ako din ganyan na ganyan ang itsura...pachecheck ko na lang sa next PM ko... Balitaan mo na lang kami sa remedyo ng toyota sa problema natin.

To _Qwerty_ and rammed: Thanks for the quick revert. Subukan ko tawagan yung mga nos. baka mayroon pa ang mga branches. Confirmed n kasi ng Toyota plant na stop production na sila ng Avanza 1.3 Blue. Sayang, yun lang ang gustong color ng anak ko, kaya yun ang kinukuha ko... tsk... tsk...

BTW, yun nga palang 14K quote sa insurance ko comprehensive na daw, pwede pang 3 gives...
