That was part of my agenda and they will seriously look into it. Question is, how do we compensate for those who already paid considering that it is already out of warranty. I cam up with a couple of suggestions though and I am confident that they will listen.

ironically, our manila group now has 7 units innovas, J, E, G, and V variants. Oldest is 2006 model, latest is 2009 models. And 1 unit 2.5 fortuner. Lahat daw wala pa na experience namamatay ang makina. In Cebu, we just got a new Hilux E. We are really hoping what we are experiencing in our 2005 models are limited to the 1st year batches, maybe sporadically carry over to succeeding years, but not as bad/frequent.

As agreed last Monday, I am forwarding to you a short list of Toyota owners who may have problems or concern with their D4D engine. Please communicate with them through the Customer Service team of TMP. Let me know when it is best to meet up again for a follow through of our first meeting so we may track our progress. Next week is fine by me, we should have accomplished something by then.

I hope they can address the issue asap because we left our 2005 innova G today at toyota quezon avenue.. Stalling problems again.. Before they were able to solve the hardstarting/choking and stalling problem by changing the fuel filter, but now it's back.. Only this time, we only experience the stalling part, weirdly, the fuel gauge became inaccurate, just wondering if this has something to do with the fuel tank warping thing.. As of now, they gave us this checklist:

Check engine stalling,pull down fuel tank,replace fuel filter element clean fuel strainer initialize supply pump-3500,check engine ind. Lit up-600,fuel gage not accurate operated-600.

Release is within the week..

I now stay at the province, Isabela to be exact but my brother is the one using it it manila.. I do go there from time to time, so count me in.. 09178951030..

any updates from toyota? We just sent a PO to toyota to place an order to replace the supply pump. 40K something ang pump. This is the pump that is causing the stalling. For the red 2005 innova I mentioned several replies back.

I guess it will take some time for toyota to admit that their supply pump is a defect.. To which, they will charge every customer out there who's got expired warranty.. Great job toyota!! Sometimes I wanted to vandalize our innova and leave it at the dealership.. Well, it did cross my mind.. Not that I'm going to do it anyway..
