Sir, ask ko lang if hindi naman ba ma void young warranty if magpabago din ako from the stock horn?

I think it depends on the Casa. In my place, they said warranty wont be void as long as you dont use relay. In some, I've heard even if u you use relay, warranty still wont be void. There are some Casas who are strict to tell you warranty will be void if they're not the ones installing it.. Not the warranty for the car per se, but warranty just for the electrical system. I think those strict casas are just encouraging us to buy original toyota accessories. If you come to think of it, theres no reason the warranty will be void if u add stereo or horns coz it cannot alter the system. Unlike maybe when you install alarm systems wherein you're really altering the wirings,etc.

Depende ata sa headunit. There are those adverstised as 100% compatible sa steering controls so baka ok naman. I haven't changed my HU though. Mukang kontento na ako hehe.

Guys, how can we keep our exterior looking bnew? Ok lang ba na madumi sya overnight then just do a weekend wash? Since most are busy, I'm sure pag uwi ng bahay we just leave the car as is, na madumi yung labas especially kung while nasa byahe may light rains.

Ang advice sakin is to spray water on the car to remove dust and acid rain but as per experience hindi ok na iiwan mo lang sya as is kasi magkaka waterspots. In such case, ok lang ba na wipe dry yung car kahit hindi mo na shampoo? I worry that surface dust might scratch the body since hindi sya na removed in the first place.

Nanoglos is ok pero it's not that durable. Max siguro one month kelangan ka na mag-reapply. I personally use Collinite 845 (available on sulit). After every car wash I finish with Nanosliq for extra protection and shine. As long as your wax is still alive (may beading pa) you don't have to reapply wax after it rains. Simple wash and Sliq lang ako usually pag naulanan.

Medyo mahal ang Microtex cloth pero kung kaya ng budget go Meron lang akong pink na Microtex for the final Nanosliq step. Washing and drying ginagamit ko yung generic na makakapal.

Ako sir I leave it that way kapag naabutan ng ulan otw home, worried kasi ako na baka magkaroon ng sratch kapag hindi ko nilagyan ng shampoo, tsaka sa condo pala ako nakatira kaya there's no way para mahugasan ko siya. So what I did na lang, pinasok ko sa 1year paint protect program to avoid those water marks, then wash once a week. So far so good, shiny and smooth siya

Sir weekly waxing would not damage the paint of your car, instead lalaki ung biceps and triceps mo :D
Seriously, once a month waxing would do or twice depende sa weather, then once a week washing. Kung mag-DIY ka sir I suggest maginvest ka po sa wax.

Yep never wash the car with water lang. You can use Optimum No Rinse (aka ONR available on sulit din) diluted in distilled water (there are dilution ratios for rinseless washes) para spray on and wipe off lang sa condo for light dirt. Kelangan lang ng madaming microfiber para di mo kakayurin sa pintura ang napulot na dumi. Pero kung putik ang kalaban ibang usapan na yan

Tsaka aside po sa tsikot, may mga blogs po ba na pwede ko basahin regarding maintenance ng kotse. First car ko lang po kasi if ever. Thanks!

hirap kasi sa matatanda samin masama daw parating magwax.heheh ang problema ko hindi ang nagdiDIY. sa harap lang kasi ng bahay namin ung carwash kaya tip ko na lang siguro yung nagcacarwash para lagyan ng wax. hindi nga ako nagpawax dati kasi turtlewax gamit nila nabasa ko hindi daw maganda yun. try ko na lang din yung collinite + nanosliq combo ni boss JohnM

US Guila rin yung free sa kin sa sides and rear window.. Pero full windshield 3M ni negotiate ko na free.
