Don't know how to post a pic from Toyota Fort Maintenance Schedule manual Australia but it says that FUEL Filter should be replace every 24months or 40,000km whichever comes first.

For vehicles using fuel from non-commercial supplies, replace the fuel filter every 12months or 20,000 km whichever comes first.

For transmission oil for both Manual and Automatic should be inspected by toyota service center every 24months or 40,000km whichever comes first.

Under extreme conditions or driven in harsh environments Replace transmission oil for both manual and automatic every 24months or 40,000km whichever comes first.

    Extreme Conditions may includes:
-Driving on rough, muddy and dusty roads.
    -Towing.
-Extensive idling, low speed driving for long distance such as taxis.
-Continuous high speed driving (at speeds greater than 140 km/h) for over 2 hours.
    -Using fuel from non-commercial supplies.

Again this is base from Australia fortuner.

Hindi ko alam if applicable sa atin dito sa Pilipinas, maybe yes.

    Regards.

May PDF manual ako for both vehicle and maintenance kaso right handed eh, nevertheless same lang ata ung ibang. Pano ba mag share ng file dito?

Convinient kasi kapag nasa phone nalang ang manual by the power of Searching button then hurray : )

    and as per manual:

Take care not to damage the sensors (installed on the right and left edges
of the power back door) with a knife or other sharp object. If the sensor is
disconnected, the power back door will not operate in automatic operation

Sharing here that the casa enabled my "Driver's door linked door unlocking function" free of charge during my last PMS. So when i park, turn off my engine and open my driver's door - all my doors are now also automatically unlocked. It is now easier for me to get stuff from the back seat :-)

    errr...
    is that safe?

in my older innovae, i have a choice...
to unlock only the driver door, or to unlock every door including rear hatch.
    factory spec.

Yup, because I don't turn off my engine unless i intend to go down. and i wouldn't park and turn off my engine in an unsafe place. the doors only unlocks if both the engine is turned off and the driver door is opened.

I have a Fortuner 2016 Diesel A/T with almost 35k odo and my questions are:

When is the Fuel Filter Change due?
When is the ATF Change due?
I do not see any dipstick for the ATF, how would we know how clean or dirty is it?
The break fluids, when is this changed?
What about the break pads, when is it due for replacement?

I have my maintenance done outside of casa and they will just do what I ask them to do...

    some answers,
my owner's manual does not say when to replace my fuel filter. so i just wait for the warning light to turn on. after 100K km, it hasn't turned on yet, and i experience no fuel starvation issues. today's fuels must be much cleaner than yesteryear's.
i ask the banawe boys to look at my brake friction pads. if they say they need to be replaced dahil manipis na, so be it. so far, after over 130K km, i have replaced my front disk pads twice (or is that, thrice?). i have not replaced my rear shoes yet.

allergic kasi ako sa casa pms.

Fuel Filter : Replace every 24months or 40k Odo whichever occurs first
ATF : Inspect every 24months or 40k Odo
ATF : Replace every 48months or 80k Odo
Break Fluid: Replace every 24months or 40k Odo
Break Pads: No particular time of replacement but should be inspected every PMS and assess whether to replace or not.

This are all base on Toyota Maintenance schedule manual

Sir, this is according to casa SA -- replace ATF, Brake Fluid, and Fuel Filter at 40k kms. Brake pads - replace as needed.

Also at 40k kms -- replace power steering fluid, and replace differential oil.
