    I don't get why a lot of politicians and locals have this mentality that the U.S. has the moral obligation to protect us in case of a conflict with China or any other WPS claimant. It's also crazy to expect that the US will keep giving us boats and aircraft for our military without compensation. Parang nanlilimos parati.

    they do. mutual defense and all that...
    but only after their congress says so.
    big word.. "after"..

    this is in comparison with japan..
    "don't bother to put up an armed forces. we will protect you, no matter what..".

    Japan has a thriving homegrown arms market. They have their own warships, armor, small arms, ASW aircraft, etc. They just haven't been allowed to export them until recently.

    Raptor 5th generation fighter jets are exclusively USAF, not even the Israelis are entitled to it

    i overheard some aircraft passing by earlier, must be practicing for tomorrow. i didn't hear any jet engines this time though
