Thanks for the info. I'm considering to go alternative (with genuine parts of course) after my warranty expires.

I feel the casa-mandated frequency is too... frequent. Even the owner's manual says twice a year (or approx. 7.5k kms) lang dapat, kahit for heavy / extreme use.

A shame, as Suzuki PH could use that fact to market the quality of its cars.

It is not available. Go for the SGO 5w-30 available sa mga local Suzuki dealers. That's the one formulated by Total. It's mineral oil.

Suzuki gasoline motor is not sensitive when it comes to lube, just follow the recommended viscosity and API specs and you should be fine. The motor is not turbocharged or a diesel engine so nothing to worry with complicated oil formulation.

Total manufactures GM dexos2 oil. They also formulate Honda's idemitsu and Nissan/ Mitsu casa OEM oils.
