Usually naman sir yon mga kumuha ng Ertiga eh Avanza yon unang tinitingnan then through research and reading reviews nagkaroon ng comparison sa mga features until mag-decide na Ertiga na kuhanin.
Re: beige interior, it looks elegant and more spacious. Meron naman free seat cover yan na kasama. Kuha ka na lang sir ng magandang matting at steering wheel cover para di gaano magdumi. :2thumbsup:

July 3rd, 2015 03:05 PM #4497e nasa ertiga thread ka siyempre ertiga! haha
pero seriously, ito yung mga comment ko sa isang thread on the battle of compact mpvs:
looks: mobilio (subjective though)
seats/seating position: ertiga (mas mataas, supported ang thighs)
space utilization: mobilio (trunk space w/ 3rd row up, tumble fold ng 3rd row although ertiga pwedeng fold flat until 2nd row)
interior: ertiga (kahit sabihing dumihin ang beige, mas mukha siyang maluwag at masaya)
never got to test drive the mobilio so wala akong masabi sa engine, fuel efficiency and ride quality.
so far, no regrets in getting the ertiga.

July 3rd, 2015 04:04 PM #4498I own neither, but I vote for the Ertiga simply because of the awkward front fascia of the Mobilio. Kahit yung mga nadadaanan ko sa labas ang off talaga tignan ng proportion eh.
Parang bonus na lang na super value for money yung Ertiga and mukhang masaya naman yung owners

July 3rd, 2015 11:50 PM #4500It's hard to answer when we did not know your reason for buying a new car.
Here's mine:
I wanted to buy a brand new car affordable enough para hindi kami magutom sa pagbabayad ng monthly amortization.
It should be fuel efficient and should be able to accomodate a family of 4 + 1 kasambahay on a regular basis, and should be able to accommodate more passengers on few occasions.
I don't care about brand.
Ertiga just fits the bill.
So ask yourself, what better fits your needs or wants between the two?
- if you are brand conscious, then you go for Mobilio
- if you are cost conscious, then you go for Ertiga
- I have not been inside a Mobilio while it's running but the seats seem to be lower and less comfortable against the Ertiga
I don't like to discuss looks as beauty is relative, but just in case you've seen Mobilio's dashboard. I'm sure you'll agree it looks cheap.
I own an Ertiga, so I am biased.
It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
