Matigas ang Brake Pedal

mga sirs, 96 glxi owner here, problema ko ung brake pedal, biglang tumigas habang nasa byahe. tas pag tinapakan ko ng todo, biglang lulubog ng slight lang, may nadidinig din akong parang buga ng hangin pag lumubog na cia. parang delayed ung pagpreno dahil dun.
na try ko na ung checking ng brake booster ba yun, ung pag tinapakan ung brake tas ini-start e lumulubog pa naman cia.
natry ko na din icheck ung vacuum hose, malakas naman ang intake ng hangin.
may mga trouble shoots pa bang pde gawin bago ko dalhin sa talyer?
fyi mga 3 days din palang nde nagamit ung oto, may kinalaman ba yun? nung inilabas ko e ok pa, pero nung pauwe na e biglang tumigas ung preno. salamas sa mga sasagot sirs, cheers.

There are several reasons why your car brake pedal is hard. most common would be a lack of vacuum pressure, issues with your valves or an issue on the pedal ratio. You might want to check those areas for possible repair. However, there are other reasons why your brake pedal is hard which can be identified when you had your car thoroughly checked. I think its best to bring your car to your trusted car shop to have it diagnose for possible repair. Doing this will fix the problem accordingly as well as avoid worsening the problem. Had the same/similar issue/symptoms before with my 90's sedan...
Brake booster ang salarin (not able to hold vacuum, kaya matigas ang pagpreno).

i doubt that this is the case.
Based on my experience... usually, pag may hangin sa brake lines, soft or spongy pagnag brake.
