Nozzir. Hindi talaga pwede iyong pang 1.8. iba Ang configuration nila . I think Mas similar pa sa gen 2 CR-V 2.0 pero Hindi din swak.

May mga parts talaga na scarce Dito sa atin Ang 2.0. Ultimo nga brake kit at in- take hose duguan Ang hanapan. Iyong former sa casa pa ako naka-order iyong latter Naman sa Lazada pa.[emoji52]

Tiningnan na Ng mekaniko ok Naman iyong tubes supplying ng vacuum sa hydrovac. Ang telling symptom iyong hissing sound sa brake pedal pag tinapakan. Para nga siyang naka- air brake eh. [emoji23]

Wala sa mga auto shop? Natawagan mo ba dati yun sikat na talyer na ex honda technician dati sa FD forum kung Meron sila? puto OEM parts sila. Yun taga binan yata

reminds me of my early days as a car owner.
early 70s ford escort.
walang piyezas!
and no casa! ford had just pulled out of the local market.
i would spend my weekends looking for parts in the usual places.
dapat ay corona taxi model or cheaper corolla na lang yung binili ko, even as their asking prices were higher.

natatawa nga ako sa ibang mga parts store, they're selling it at 24k pero sa casa din naman kukunin. buti pa kung derecho ako sa casa may discount ako kasi suki naman ako doon.

as the others above have mentioned, these things have a very long lifespan. but i am sure you already checked the rubber hoses...

Well, worst case scenario, at least merong ma-oorder.
And to think, Honda yan ah. (fairly mainstream brand).

Paano pa kaya yung mga more obscure manufacturers when something like this happens? (Refer to "Fiat Uno" thread).

Although may nahanap na na surplus iyong suki ko dati na tiga mitsu. Nagsarili na Siya kaya aggressive. Pero antay pa ko konti baka may better outcome iyong iba ko na natanungan.

That's a bad case of corrosion. does the brake vacuum get exposed to moisture often?

lakas maka corrode ng metal yan brake fluid.. kaya nung minsan may maliit na leak yung sa adventure ko, pinalitan ko agad yung seals.. then paint din agad ng brake booster.. kasi natuklap na paint

break fluid spatter from during break fluid refilling events in the past.
ngayon ko lang na-isip: that's why dad would always wipe clean the metals around the master cylinder after refils, using lotsa water.
even only one drop of break fluid will soften and do away with the paint protecting the sheet metal of the break booster body underneath, exposing the latter to the atmosphere.
after several years, that raw, exposed metal would have rusted thru.

Pinasok yan ng brake fluid.. may minor leak na yan seals.. baka hindi din nalinis na maigi nung nag palit ka ng brake kit..
