Ah, I see. On my end, light taps on accelerator during crawling traffic.

Right noe, I have this problem. When I go 30-45KPH and I let go of the accelerator, I feel as if the car is braking slightly on it’s own for a while then it starts to go normal again. Any thought on this?

I have this nagging issue regarding the brake lights.

The driver side is busted again. While the 3rd and passenger side are still working despite being them being 8 yrs already.

Do you guys have this issue as well? What could it be? Blown fuse?

Replacement bulbs are not as good as the factory ones ... Careful not to touch the glass when replacing the bulb ... But mostly this is for headlight bulbs ... Find it strange for new vehicles to have busted tail lights, brake lights or reverse lights ... One of the possible reason might be someone swapped out the bulbs ... But bulbs are quite cheap for anyone to bother stealing ...

If it's a fuse problem, both would have same symptoms ... And if it's a busted fuse, then the bulb won't blow up ...

(Having a déjà vu while typing this ...)

    No no no.

It's an old car. Hehe SH9 pa.

I checked online either maluwag or sira na yung fuse or sakit talaga ng SH9 to. I've seen a number of SH9s as well with busted brake light and guess where? Driver side rin. [emoji23]

    Oh subarus and their issues.

Maybe that's what makes a subaru, a subaru afterall.

Pero i have to say, after all these years of driving that car, it still puts a smirk on my face everytime i floor it. Makes me giddy.

They spent all on the engine, transmission and symmetrical AWD ... No budget left for the interior and electrical system ...

Since I drive CVTs daily, I kinda miss the kick of an old school 4AT so I bring out the Mazda 3 every now and then. It feels very raw and connected to the road, a feeling that most new cars don't have.

It is one of the reasons I enjoy driving the Fiesta better over the XT. The upshifts and downshifts are more pronounced with the DCT. Subie’s CVT is quite good as it always put you within the powerband but there is no sensation of going up or down the gears.
