guys mangungulit lang uli ako.... this tuesday will be my 1st PMS... afterwards i will change my tires na... still cant decide kung mag 245/70 ako or 265/70.

set na ako sa yoko geolander or goodyear silentarmor... which ever of the 2 ang may available...

sa size nalang talaga ako di makapag decide.... it will be mounted on my stock mags of my glx.

hati kasi ako sa dalawa pati yung ibang pinag tanongan ko hati din ang votes.... gusto ko talaga sana yung 265 kaso concern ko baka pangit tignan sa stock mags baka mag mukang pinilit also malaki ba ang difference ng hatak ng 245 sa 265 o very minimal lang?

para kasing last sa consideration ko yung aesthetics. i want to know the advantage and disadvantage kasi technically if theres any between the two sizes.

i know alot of you guys went tru this too.....

IMO if your planning to change tires without changing the stock mags...I think you should just stick with the 245's kasi parang alanganin talagang tingnan yung 265's sa very narrow mags...and as I could remember there are safety issues yata when using big tires o narrow mags....

anyhow, since nabanggit mo yung 245/75 which is new to my ears...you might as well try it...kasi AFAIK wala pa nag tatry nyan.....another one who tried a unique size was our member from cebu....si TK...235/80/16 stock mags...maganda tingnan on the strada....pang rally size kasi yun...

yan..... safety issue...... yan din kasi isang iniisip ko.... medyo malaki difference kasi ng price ng 245 sa 265.kaya talagang hesitant ako. investment din kasi yung gulong and if ever ayoko magka regret pag bumili na ako....

since right now madami pa naka line up sa setup na gusto ko. wala pa sa line up ang mag palit ng mags. kaya hesitant ako sa 265.though maganda ng tignan kung malapad kaso yun nga baka di uubra yung mags ko.

yup sir..maganda parin...but what you could do is try mo muna yung tires before you buy the flares...may nakita kasi ako walang flares pero wide yung tires macho ding tingnan....

for the 245/75 Im positive that walang rubbing but not too sure though...Im not even sure if that size exists...hehe.... pero kung may makita ka pwede mo namang isukat yun sir...

yup LR, kinuha ng 20k kya napapalit na ko kagad... nagiinquire lang ako e, then inoffer sakin ung 3mos installment and 20k worth trade-in ung 2010 stock mags and tires.

pero idol pa rin ung mickey t. nyo!

i made the mistake of installing 265/75/16 on a 16x7rims, i did not feel and see the maximize effect of the tires, but when i changed the rims to 16x8, the tires looked really massive and wide.

nagawa ko na ito sa pajero, montero sport and strada. sisiw lang po ito sa nagpapalit ng rim and tires.

I was able to meet up with Fellow BOSB Mighty Max at the Mitsubishi-Motorplaza showroom and service center (my weekly tambayan) and i got to see his Strada... fitted with the Pajero Field Master Ralliart mags (painted white) and an interesting swap that he did with his Montero Sport:



in exchange for what is to be found in the Montero Sport:



according to Mighty Max, exchanging fascia and painting the bumper to their respective colors was easy. the challenge was with the electricals for the Headlamp assembly since the Strada was a single Bulb as compared to the Monty's dual Bulb. To this date- both trucks STILL works well and continues to be a head turner... hehehe...
