he settled for $2.5m with the spurs and the spurs will be facing tougher competition in the west next season with amare stoudamire hopefully coming back.

dami agad NBA news ah. two days pa lang after the end of the season.

a lot of money is going to be flying around when the now-famous class of 2003 gets their extensions. i'm certain Lebron, Carmelo, Bosh and Wade will all get the max, no questions asked. that is, if their management teams are not idiots (i guess Bosh might have a problem :bwahaha: )

i don't see anything wrong about Antoine Walker saying that Paul Pierce has to go somewhere else to contend for a championship. it's true. he's in his prime, and he's spending those years playing babysitter to the talented Boston kids. maybe he has a chance if Al Jefferson takes an Amare-like leap forward, and Delonte West plays like Chris Paul...but otherwise i doubt it.

Larry Brown deserved to be fired as coach, but Isaiah should have been fired as GM also. man the Knicks are a mess, and i have lost a lot of respect for LB after the fiascos in Detroit and NY

i can only dream of Ben Wallace coming to Miami...imagine having a Zo-like presence for 40 mins instead of 20! that would be a dream come true...

i think Yahoo's draft rankings are a joke. Adam "Wally S. with a more pronounceable last name" Morrison will be a good player, but i don't really think GM's see him as a future superstar. i do agree that Mo Ager will fall to the late 1st round, but the team that gets him is going to have a steal. the guy is just clutch, and he knows how to win. but all the high-picking teams are going to go with "upside" and "potential" instead of picking a proven winner. next stop: Miami perhaps?

as for the Lakers, i think Carlos Boozer would be a good addition, but they can't lose Lamar Odom, and i don't know who else would tempt Utah into giving him up.
