    The Nets are in deep sh*t... Kenyon Martin is having major trouble with the Wallace boys. Pistons in 5, advance to Conf. Finals beat Pacers in 6 then face the Spurs in the finals. Pistons in 7!!!

    first let me say that i have been a laker fan all my life (i'm from cali originally)

    it appears that the lakers are done. they have been in tough spots before, but have never lost their composure or stopped fighting. but now, they are just in disarray.

    the spurs are clearly the better team, and they are well-coached. they make adjustments effortlessly and have countered all of PJ's coaching moves.

    Shaq is still dominant, but not 30 pts/15 rebs dominant - and without that, they are dead. Payton has been completely useless in the playoffs, and Malone is playing with the heart of a champion, but his body is just breaking down. Kobe is still Kobe, but the constant harassment of Bowen and Manu does tire him out.

    if the Spurs continue to roll, i think they beat the Kings in the West Finals and the Pacers in the Finals

    I think with LA right now, I'd put the blame on Phil Jackson...

    Yes, he got 2 future hall of famers (Malone and Payton) but did he use them? Heck no, he used Malone like a Rodman (rebound and hand off passer), Payton like a Harper (Feed the ball to your 2 guard and center)... What a waste.

    Payton is a great post up guard, and the 2-3x he posted against Parker, Parker couldn't do anything unless help comes along.

    Malone thrives on pick and rolls, but the Lakers never run them off Payton-Malone shift...

    They wasted 2 great players, they couldve gotten the same result if they just signed 2 low paying free agents that can somewhat shoot and rebound...

    the problem is consistency, mas consistent ang spurs kesa sa lakers ngayon.

    spurt lang yan ng lakers since sunday home game ang game 3, tignan natin ang games 4 and 5

    spurs in 6 din ang hula ko.
