RE: the suspensions, it actually helped the Knicks... the great Isaiah Thomas was forced to give minutes to David Lee and Channing Frye, the result an overtime win over the powerhouse Utah Jazz. Saw the game it was great, teams trading baskets down the stretch.

May tuliling talaga tong si Isaiah. 1st he trades for Steve Francis when he already has a shoot first PG in Stephon, then he trades for Eddy Curry and gives him 10M/year, this season he signs Jared Jeffries to the full MLE. And he says that Jared Jeffries is the key? WTF? But I must admit he showed us that he has an eye for talent (no not Rolando Balkman argghhh!!!) when he drafted David Lee and Channing Frye, forget about Nate Robinson, he's a thug.

The AI and Melo pairing will be tricky, George Karl will have to come up with an offensive scheme to make this work, atleast AI will have 15 games to hog the ball with Melo out :hihihi:

I was really hoping that AI would go to the Wolves but it wasn't meant to be.

I forsee A LOT of freethrows in Denver hehe AI, Melo, Smith, Boykins...

    GO DENVER!!!!

the top two scorers in the NBA on one team... Denver should RUN RUN and RUN, hoist up a 100 shots / game, average 110 ppg and get 25-30apg. Marcus Camby will have a ton of boards with all those missed shots

One of them will get reduced number of shots and lesser points. Sino kaya magbibigay?

AFAIK, Denver's leading the league when it comes to shot attempts. hope George Karl's offense would be able to acomodate both players' attempts though.

but we'll know in a few weeks pa so right now, I'm expecting to see 2-3 weeks of quality AI play while Melo's out. lalo na when they play the sixers..

if AI's going to play point, he gets first touch

re webber, imo he will be harder to move. unless the team decides to cut him..

I'd expect AI's assist numbers to shoot up by 3-4APG while his FG will improve, but I'd expect his PPG to drop at least 5-8ppg...

This team now has a lot of points, assists, steals and reb potential... With so much shots being hoisted up in mid-range, Camby, Evans, Nene, Najera will rack up a lot of boards.

    GO CAMBY!

Hehe, of course I'm boosting my estimates coz I have him sa keeper :P

Honestly, I just love watching AI, so I don't really care what he does as long as the team will end up strong in the playoffs...

The Nuggets now have great D (interior and wing), great speed, lots of firepower and deep frontline... They'll just have to cross their fingers that chemistry and injury doesn't hit them that hard.

dont think nuggets have "great" interior D yet... they only have camby whos a good weak side defender... they dont have people who can guard guys like duncan, amare..straight up
but then again... theres not much "duncan" type players left...
nene has potential. but thats about it

Since melo will be suspended pa , iverson will surely pick up the slack when it comes to scoring. I'm curious at the same time anxious to see them side by side playing alongside each other. They certainly have the potential to be a deadly 1-2 punch na dynamic duo superstars although hindi kaagad. Chemistry in a team does not happen overnight, sanay sila na sila lang ang go-to guy dati. It should take some time; probably a few weeks of playing together..

man, the western conference just got a lot more interesting

Phoenix naman just got its 15th straight win; wow!
