Basically this administration is practically leaving people to their own devices.

Yep ang pinaka-ayaw ko sa lahat yung "wala na tayong magagawa" mentality na pinapakita nila, as if they exhausted the needed efforts to battle the pandemic. Akala mo best practice talaga tayo eh. And worse, may naniniwala *facepalm*

Ang response pa ni Dutz kay VP is to ride on a plane and use pesticide to kill the virus. Is it just me or is he just going through the motions sa weekly address niya para may masabi siya?

ganito ka gulo ang government team against covid-19

    https://www.philstar.com/opinion/202...3919/confusion

Even in the creation of special bodies to respond to the pandemic, the delineation of functions and decision-making can be confusing.

Let’s see: there’s the IATF co-chaired by Duque and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles; the National Task Force Against COVID-19 or NTF chaired by Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana; and a National Action Plan Against COVID-19 with a “chief implementer,” Carlito Galvez, and a deputy who is also the COVID “testing czar,” Vince Dizon.

The IATF created the NTF after approval of the National Action Plan.

There is a contact tracing czar, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong; an isolation czar, Public Works Secretary Mark Villar; and a treatment czar, Health Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega. How is the division of labor, and who has the final word in their respective areas of responsibility – the czar, the NTF or the IATF?

    di nagets ni presidente eh

    ung ano pa dapat gawin

it's more on ano ang di nagawa ng gobyerno kaya umabot tayo sa ganun

nag focus lang kasi ang gobyerno sa mass testing pero kulang sa contact tracing and isolation

aanuhin mo ung mass testing kulang naman actions mo after nag positive ung tao

Yan weekly addresses niya na lang namana talaga ang trabaho niya. Wala na ginagawa yan. Figurehead na lang siya ng mga tao nakapaligid sa kanya.

meron naman mga bansa na pwede gayahin

    like Vietnam, SK

SK's contact tracing is second to none

3/4/5 layers of contacts ang hinahanap

DOH repeats warning vs UV light use as media workers covering robot demo suffer eye injury | BusinessMirror

THE Department of Health (DOH) on Monday warned the public anew on the use of ultraviolet(UV) light following an incident over the weekend where at least eight media workers suffered eye injury following exposure to a UV light disinfection robot in an impromptu demonstration in Baguio City.

In an online media forum, Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire reiterated that there is not enough evidence yet to prove that the UV devices can effectively eliminate SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19.

Vergeire reiterated that under severe exposure, exposure may damage the cornea.

On Saturday, the Robotic Activations held a demonstration of its UV-C disinfection robot at the Baguio Convention Center which was attended by the National Task Force CODE team.

Among the journalists on coverage at the Baguio Convention Center when a Danish robotics firm conducted a demo of its machine at the lobby was CNN Philippines correspondent David Santos.

Interviewed by chief correspondent Pia Hontiveros, Santos said he and his cameraman had to seek treatment in a Baguio hospital after experiencing a reddening of the eye, accompanied by irritation and vision impairment. The ophthalmologist on duty told them the injury could heal in three to four days, but also warned them that in certain cases, victims of UV exposure could develop cataract.
