I got the results na for my covid neutralizing antibody test

Is this high enough? I read dapat daw 20 days after getting covid pa nagde develop talaga immunity. What I don't know is 20 days from testing positive or recovery kasi my first day of symptom was August 25 and I recovered Sep 7. I had the test done Sep 26

After yielding promising results on the trials among unvaccinated patients at the early stage of COVID-19 infection, investigational drug molnupiravir will be next tested as a post-exposure prophylaxis.

This drug was developed by pharmaceutical company MSD, also known as Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics in the United States and Canada.

Dr. Beaver Tamesis, president and managing director of MSD in the Philippines, said the antiviral pill will be tested among households of COVID-19 patients to check if the drug can prevent infection among those who were exposed to virus carriers.

"If somebody within the household comes down with COVID, hopefully we can get the rest of the family protected against COVID…" Tamesis said.

"We will now treat the household members with anti-COVID molnupiravir versus sugar tablet to see if it will prevent them from catching the illness at all," he added.

Finland on Thursday paused the use of Moderna's (MRNA.O) COVID-19 vaccine for younger males due to reports of a rare cardiovascular side effect, joining Sweden and Denmark in limiting its use.

Mika Salminen, director of the Finnish health institute, said Finland would instead give Pfizer's vaccine to men born in 1991 and later. Finland offers shots to people aged 12 and over.

"A Nordic study involving Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark found that men under the age of 30 who received Moderna Spikevax had a slightly higher risk than others of developing myocarditis," he said.

Swedish and Danish health officials had announced on Wednesday they would pause the use of the Moderna vaccine for all young adults and children, citing the same unpublished study. read more

Norwegian health officials reiterated on Wednesday that they recommended men under the age of 30 opt for Pfizer's vaccine.

Unvaccinated individuals will no longer be able to dine-in, go to shopping malls, hawker centres and coffee shops, or visit attractions from next Wednesday (Oct 13).

The Ministry of Health said on Saturday (Oct 9) that this is a move to protect unvaccinated individuals in the community and to reduce the strain on the healthcare system.

The ministry added that epidemiological investigations have identified food and beverage settings such as hawker centres, retail establishments, and shopping centres as settings frequently visited by a significant proportion of Covid-19 positive cases, including those who are unvaccinated, and who later fell very sick.

Currently, those who are unvaccinated can dine-in at hawker centres and coffee shops.

Groups of up to two fully vaccinated people are allowed to dine-in at F&B outlets. Children under the age of 12, recovered individuals, and unvaccinated people with a valid negative pre-event test (PET) result can be included in the group of two.
