Lockdown alone without mass testing, contact tracing and quarantine is a useless and wasteful effort...

    and therein is the issue.
we have no reliable information saying one way or the other.
and because we currently have no fast-fix medication against the scourge, all this brow-haha is just "clutching at straws" syndrome.

    in the california gold rush,
relatively few miners really struck it rich.
the people who did strike it rich, were the support businesses who provided... support, i.e., food suppliers... dwellings builders... equipment suppliers...

been saying that since last year

1 layer lang contact tracing natin if there's any contact tracing at all

it took a whole year for gov't to realize they had to contract trace more than 1 layer

South Korea (most meticulous contact tracing in the world) 1 case lang they can be tracing hundreds of people

hirap kasi paniwalaan ang testimony lang

ung "nag positive ako sa covid and i took ivermectin gumaling ako"

what if the person had mild covid lang...

whether or not he took ivermectin gagaling talaga siya

    madami kusa gumagaling sa covid

Three fully vaccinated Hawaii residents test positive for Covid

"Hawaii’s state Department of Health announced last week that three people had tested positive for Covid-19, even though the individuals had been fully vaccinated with either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.

The department confirmed in a statement that none of the three people became severely ill after contracting the virus and did not appear to pass it on to anyone else, according to the New York Post."

Salot talaga itong CHINA WUHAN VIRUS

Contact tracing won't work here in our country. Most of us sarili lang iniisip, so we will not tell the truth when asked by the contact tracing team. Takot tayo ma-tag as having had contact with a covid positive person. Lalo tayong takot madala sa quarantine facility na alam natin hindi tayo maging comfortable.

just coz you got fully vaccinated doesn't mean there's suddenly a force shield surrounding you and the virus will bounce off it

you still have receptors in your nose / mouth

the virus will still attach to those receptors even if you're vaccinated

what the vaccine does is prevent you from getting very sick needing hospitalization

    something many still don't get

this, i believe, is what some drug pushers are relying on.
"gumaling sila dahil ininom nila ang gamot ko."
they did not share to their followers the possibility that, gagaling sila whether they took the drug or not".

    --

in other countries maganda ang quarantine facility di natatakot mga tao magpa-isolate

kaya you can attribute a lot of things to your recovery

nag megadose ka ng vitamin C

    nag turmeric ka

    nag inhale ka ng steam

pero malaking chance gagaling ka sa covid whether or not you did all that

then after you recover ikakalat mo sa socmed yan ang ginawa mo syempre maniniwala mga tao

For those waiting for the Astrazeneca...

Exclusive: India delays big exports of AstraZeneca shot, as infections surge | Reuters

COVAX updates participants on delivery delays for vaccines from Serum Institute of India (SII) and AstraZeneca

Deliveries of COVID-19 vaccines produced by the Serum Institute of India (SII) to lower-income economies participating in the COVAX Facility will face delays during March and April as the Government of India battles a new wave of COVID-19 infections. COVAX and the Government of India remain in discussions to ensure some supplies are completed during March and April.

According to the agreement between Gavi and the Serum Institute of India (SII), which included funding to support an increase in manufacturing capacity, SII is contracted to provide COVAX with the SII-licensed and manufactured AstraZeneca (AZ)-Oxford vaccine (known as COVISHIELD) to 64 lower-income economies participating in the Gavi COVAX AMC (including India), alongside its commitments to the Government of India.

To date, COVAX has been supplied with 28 million COVISHIELD doses and was expecting an additional 40 million doses to be available in March, and up to 50 million doses in April.

COVAX has notified all affected economies of potential delays. SII has pledged that, alongside supplying India, it will prioritize the COVAX multilateral solution for equitable distribution.
