I can't even sit in the garden anymore e sometimes I see people naglalakad wala mask! (most of the time mga yaya ata yayo!)

Also, akala ko pa naman it takes 15 mins of interaction/talking to catch the virus, 1 min lang pala. Paano na yung pentosan weekly shots ng fat lab ko, e I have to interact with people there dahil ayaw pumasok ni fat lab sa clinic ng wala ako (though lahat sila naka mask naman na worn properly)

    When will this end!!!!
don't worry about it, in open air spaces the virus will immediately dissipate if its airborne plus UV light/sunlight will kill it. Just wear a mask and you will be safe and don't talk to people who arn't wearing a mask.

Air flow and movement is different inside enclosed places.

Is there no hi-tech indoor camera that can detect microscopic covid virus? will be easier that way to quickly isolate the area.

anal swab is laughable to most people

di lang kasi alam the virus is in poop

when you get infected (thru the nose/mouth) the virus will go anywhere ACE2 receptors are present (which is present all throughout the human body)

so not only do you exhale/sneeze/cough out the virus, you also fart out the virus

It is really laughable but is this illustration possible? The virus travelling down the soil pipe and later on get up the floor drain.

    that illustration isn't theory

it's what happened in HK during SARS1

residents of a whole building got infected

it was traced to that cause

    -

it can surely happen with SARSCOV2

    it could have happened already

i think the same thing happened on the Cruise ship in Japan early last year. The virus was traveling the ventilation shafts.

i vaguely remember from an earlier something... a government spokesman or a labor something of sorts.
he said that non-vaccination shall not be a reason for termination nor a factor for determination to a position or something like that.

i am not sure if he meant for HCWs as well.

That came out in a DoLE issuance, specifically DoLE Labor Advisory 03-2021 dated 12 March 2021. This applies to all employees covered by the labor code and under the jurisdiction of the DoLE.

Unfortunately, government employees are not covered by the labor code but by the civil service regulations.

No idea. Maybe some forumers here who are also lawyers / HR practitioners with the government can chime in.

SARS-CoV-2 circulated undetected months before first COVID-19 cases in Wuhan, China: study
Using molecular dating tools and epidemiological simulations, researchers at University of California San Diego School of Medicine, with colleagues at the University of Arizona and Illumina, Inc., estimate that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was likely circulating undetected for at most two months before the first human cases of COVID-19 were described in Wuhan, China in late-December 2019.

Writing in the March 18, 2021 online issue of Science, they also note that their simulations suggest that the mutating virus dies out naturally more than three-quarters of the time without causing an epidemic.

"Our study was designed to answer the question of how long could SARS-CoV-2 have circulated in China before it was discovered," said senior author Joel O. Wertheim, Ph.D., associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
