you mean for baiskee? well, as long as the trades aren't coming out as collusion and fair yung trade, there shouldn't be any issues coz pwede naman mag veto...

also, it's too late in the season to change any ruling... bai isn't dumping players naman so it shouldn't be an issue...

He can still fight for the consolation rounds pa naman if he does well this week.

Maybe next season we can add a trading deadline, but I prefer not to have one it adds to the flavor in terms of strategy.

since wala yatang kokontra sa trade ng Odom for Maggette, i'm approving it:

48% fg, 73% ft, 15 pts, 1 3pm, 9.2 reb, 5.5 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk, 2.7 TO

Maggette - season
45% fg, 73.5% ft, 18 pts, 1 3pm, 5 reb, 1.7 ast, 0.5 stl, 0 blk, 2.5 TO

basically a trade where Rockwell gives up every other cat to get more scoring. i don't think this is a vetoable trade, but i can't help but think we're being a little bit inconsistent in applications of vetos.

This trade is close, not veto worthy IMO, unless Corey Magette reinjures himself. However I'm kinda surprised with Altis for accepting this trade or proposing it, his team certainly doens't need the scoring, he has a lot of it. Odom's all around game would certainly benefit his team more.

Inconsistent yes, I've been involved in a one sided deal myself , error of judgement on my part. But we've agreed that we'll go with majority league votes when deciding trades. I have no problems with it.

so here's a question for the league - why would the Ridnour/James trade be vetoed and the Maggette/Odom trade not even get a comment when, as ILD says, the situation is "surprising" (similar comment to the other trade) and all the other one-sided deals were approved?

i gave this league the vote option because i believe the commish shouldn't have too much power, but i do want to know what kind of league i'm running here.

are we vetoing because a trade smells of collusion or destroys the balance of the league? or are we doing it because we don't want another team to get better or 'protecting' a GM from making a trade we think is bad?

no ill feelings here, i'm just confused.

Okafor's health tho is a big question mark... however Bernie Bickerstaff did a good job in getting young talent, oppososite to what Isaiah Thomas is doing which is getting big contracts :bwahaha:
