PK wins 5th place with a close 5-4 win over jlee, who takes 6th.
consolation round:
altis and ungas battle for 7th place
owner and jim fight for 9th place
baiskee takes 11th place with a 6-3 win over former commish mantoy
onga pala, ILD pulls off a 6-3 upset over top seed theveed!
he gets the honor of losing to me in the finals
theveed and kimpoy battle it out for third next week

Nice match veed, I knew this was a tough matchup but I knew deep inside I had a fighting chance because my guys are picking up their game at just the right time. Like I said a month or so ago, just get in the playoffs anything can happen.

April 11th, 2006 12:35 AM #4237kimpoy...if it makes you feel any better the only thing that hurt you imo was not dropping Wally after it was announced he was out for the season late last week. even then you only really missed a game or two from him. what really hurt you was all that Dwayne Casey BS with Ricky Davis/KG benchings, and you couldn't really do anything about that (unless you dropped them, hehe). as of thursday or friday yata malaki pa ang lamang mo...it was Chris Paul, JON and the timely pickup of Charlie Bell's 3-pt shooting that won the matchup for me.
ILD = George Mason Patriots....
M54 = Florida Gators....?
comment ko lang dun sa loss ni theveed - it looks like his team matches up better against my team (i'm sure this was no accident ) and ILD did a nice job adjusting his team for the matchup. ultimately, theveed's team was built to win the big man categories, but ended up losing fg% and TO thanks to uncharacteristic performances by Banks, Duncan and MoPete.
i said this before, but it's ironic that the trades i made with ILD all worked out very heavily in his favor. i'm sure he's enjoying how Artest and Howard will carry his team against me, and i have nothing to show for it in return....huhuhu
