    kung sabagay, ewan ko nga ba, nakakagawian ng mga yan na mamahay sa makina. kaya sa akin, panay ang check ko sa makina kung ok pa, kasi mahirap na yung nasa byahe ka na tapos nagloko yung makina dahil sa nginatngat ng daga yung mga wirings.

    By the way, ano po ba ang proper break in sa Fortuner 2.7? Birit po ba agad?

    Try and backread. Treasure trove of info on proper break in procedures not mentioned in any owners manual. While the manual will not discuss elaborate protocol, some basics I've picked up over the years from automative enthusiasts and engineers at forums like this are:

    1. Do not go in excess of the mentioned max speed during the first 500-1000km (example: don't go over 100km/hr);

    2. Do not go over 1,500 rpm until engine temperature reaches optimal operating level, halfway between C and H on the temperature gauge;

    3. Avoid jackrabbit starts and hard braking during mentioned first 1000 kms;

    4. For manual trannies, follow the shifting protocol vs speed;

    5. Do not stay in a single speed over prolonged periods; in short, vary driving speed.

    These are the major steps I always undertake with every new vehicle I've had over the last two decades.

    Good luck and enjoy your new ride!

    Naku problem ko rin yan. Dumating pa sa point na nanganak. Tapos yong mga kuting kapag natakot, nagtatago sa loob ng makina Ayon, tatlong araw kaming naghahabulan at bago mag start sinisiguradong wala sa makina yong mga kuting. Noong nahuli ko, binigay sa kabilang subdivision

    talo kayo sir sa akin.

    Kanina lang nagulat ako nung nadikobre kong may isang malaking pusa na namatay sa loob ng makina ng Fort ko. Doon siya nakahiga sa malaking space near the right fender. Siguro namatay lang kasi alang uod o langaw o bantot. Pero tumigas na yung katawan.
