they focused on iOS7 too much. they really need to get their **** together. this just goes to show how much steve jobs had a hand in concept and design of the products. i'm still waiting for the iphone model that would make me want to buy it after testing it out at the store.

people resist change so that sort of feeling is not surprising if you've been using an iphone for the past few years.

I really don't like the idea of bashing apple. But as said many times before. they're far from the company that started this ruckus.

Totoo namang hindi na nakaka-"wow" ang new iPhones since nawala si Steve Jobs. Since then, unti unti na rin silang nalamangan ng Samsung, specs pa lang. 4S yung huling iPhone na may wow factor for me dahil sa Siri, which is also the last iPhone launched nung namatay si Jobs.

    Lock in for two year contract yung US$ 99(16GB). Yung open line is US$ 549 (16GB) or US$ 649 (32GB), no 64GB. IPhone 5S openline are US$ 649 (16GB), US$ 749 (32GB) and US$ 849 (64GB).

Do you think the US$ 100 difference is worth the colored plastic?

iPhone 5c - Buy iPhone 5c in white, pink, yellow, blue, or green - Apple Store (U.S.)
    Buy iPhone 5s in 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB - Apple Store (U.S.)

iNew iPhones a 'price' disappointment in China
By Cyrus Lee for View from China | September 11, 2013 -- 05:30 GMT (13:30 SGT)

The official prices of iPhone 5s is identical to the iPhone 5 previously sold in China, where the low-end 16G model is priced at 5,288 yuan (US$864) per set. However, the long-waited cheaper version, iPhone 5c, is priced at 4,488 yuan (US$733) for the 16G model. This was the only "big surprise" to the Chinese consumers this time, though, not in a positive way, unfortunately.

Here's what Chinese netizens are saying on Sina Webo... "It brighten's Chinese smartphone makers' day." "Apple is definitely the next Nokia." "iPhone 5c's C is not Cheap, is not China, it is Cheat!"

If iPhone 5s keeps Apple in the high-end market in China, then we should not expect a bright future for the lackluster handset. Research by Canalys showed Apple's share in the Chinese smartphones market dropped to a mere 5 percent in the second quarter--ranked in seventh place after ZTE and Huawei. Its share fell by nearly half from the same period last year. Its biggest competitor, Samsung, topped the list with a market share of some 18 percent.

The future for iPhone 5c could be a disaster in China. As iPhone 5c's pricing remains at the higher end of the market in China, why would Chinese consumers who can afford an iPhone care about the 800 yuan difference (US$131) between iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, and choose to go for a plastic and less powerful model?

What's more, in Hong Kong where the two new iPhones will also be sold in the first global release, the iPhone 5s 16G model is priced at only HK$5,588 (US$721), which is US$12 cheaper than the iPhone 5c sold in China. It means huge smuggling profits for parallel traders, and bleak prospects for the official sales of iPhone 5c in China.

All expectations of iPhone 5c in China have been shattered by its prices. The market here is indeed the world's fastest-growing smartphone market, but it is also a market where people can afford 3,000 yuan (US$490) mid-range models, according to a columnist Zheng Jun on Sina.

"Almost the same configurations but the changes of colors, the iPhone 5c is basically the same as iPhone 5," said Luo Liang, another columnist with Sina. "If iPhone 5s is targeting high-end users, then who is going to buy iPhone 5c at this price?"

    "...Apple is the next Nokia."

    ouch.

i don't think they'll go down anytime soon, but they need to fill in the void left by Jobs fast. i was thinking maybe one of his kids may have inherited his talent?

having vision is not a talent. steve job's had vision but his talent was being an asshole while driving the company towards his vision.

apple won't find itself in nokia's shoes anytime soon. it has too much money in the bank and too many fans buying it's products. if the company loses the "elite" status of it's products then that's the start of the downward spiral into irrelevance and obscurity.

What's saving the iPhone (and Apple) is it's huge collection of apps in its appstore. This is also the reason I don't want to try Android. I've already invested in a lot of apps.
