I just made myself look like an Idiot

Sheesh all the while I thought it was American because I remember browsing it online and it said USA. Seems like I can't avoid Chinese products no matter how hard I try.

Very deceiving kasi yung America's number one It's also expensive compared to other brands kaya I assume US made. I didn't mind the higher price because of that

I wonder kung sinasadya talaga ng ibang Chinese companies to sound non CHinese, like Anker, German yung name

Siyempre sadya yun. Parang DJI - the world's biggest drone brand doesn't sound Chinese diba. To uninformed "patriots", I would buy DJI instead of Zhiyun - but in reality both are Chinese drone/camera brands.

    "made in china"
    for XXXX USA.

    it's all over the industry.

one has to read carefully the lyrics, to see where the item was manufactured.

"made in usa" is what i look for.

Kaya lang dr, Anker is a chinese company. Even before the china virus, I avoid China products for more than a decade na because of their unethical (understatement) way of doing business. Since practically everything is made in China, buy from a company na lang that is not Chinese even if it has manufacturing in China

The only Chinese brand that I buy is Xiaomi because I think the quality is decent. I don't like their phones though, I bought one and gave it to my second Mom after a few months hehehe

Yes dr, I like US made. Canada is also good, and of course Germany. BTW, sa Germany dami din nagalit because the face mask sold to them are made in China LOL! I asked my friend to buy me a German made surgical mask, Chinese din nabli niya.

Everyone thinks of China's economic impact so simplistically.

Wala na tayong magagawa everything passes through China and they are rightfully "the world's factory". Avoiding Chinese branded products has infinitesimal impact to them, just as metal straws cannot save the turtles.

You think boycotting China will hurt them? No way. Them boycotting us will hurt much more. Not even the US can win a trade war with China - hence the current lack of progress with the US-China trade deal.

Of course I am aware that it won't hurt China, even if the whole Philippines boycotts them wala naman impact. Sarili ko na lang yun na at least I am one less person who consciously avoids Chinese companies. I am not the only person naman who thinks that way, majority of my friends and family are doing the same. Kahit naman dito sa Tsikot meron din who avoid Chinese companies

Yeah we can all avoid Chinese companies pero wala rin naman impact.

I look at it pragmatically - I generally don't like Chinese products because they're generally lower quality vs others. Using a lower quality product has a direct impact to my life so if I can afford a higher quality product then I go for it, usually it's a non-Chinese option but there are really cases where all of the options are Chinese.

And what China is doing now is still a far cry from what the Westerners did several centuries back and they never paid for the economic and social atrocities they've done to developing nations in the past so they don't have the moral ascendancy to act as if they're so clean. That said, 2 wrongs don't make a right so if we can avoid further injustices, then better.

rolex and some of those un-spell-able brands, and BMW na lang yata ang hindi made in china.
bulacan motor works or balintawak motor works.

years ago, segway proudly advertised "made in USA".
    that was then.
