Still waiting for other offers din. Di kasi ako comfy sa home service so kung may shop na malapit I'll go for that. Granted na medyo rare tong phone na to. Hirap maghanap ng accessories like case and screen protector. Sayang lang kasi because it has a good screen and camera.

Baka close pa shop nya kaya home service. And u can wait at the comfort of ur house. Small equipment naman dinadala nila. Kasya sa backpack. Its good to have choices tho.

My son inherited the P9 Plus. Of course he dropped it. The touchscreen broke but the display is fine.

I asked for a repair estimate on an FB group and I was quoted 3500 for original "daw" touchscreen and display set. The P9 Plus has an OLED screen so duda ako sa price. I also checked Lazada and the glass cover is available for less than 1k.

I could give him my A6+ and get a new phone for myself but it's gonna cost me because I want an OLED and at least 3gb RAM.

Thoughts?

For me, pag basag screen, change phone na agad unless official service center magrerepair with warranty.

I learned the hard way - dropped my Note 5 before and cracked the screen. The replacement screen (which I paid 4k I think) started bleeding after a few months even without being dropped.

I agree with this. Same experience. Also consider the price of the screen versus the current price of unit ngayon. Kung halos malapit na eh I'd rather add a little bit more than to gamble on a screen replacement.

Had the p9 plus of my son repaired kasi nagcrackdon screen. Yung nareplace hindi na gumagana yung gront facing camera.

If hindi orig ang ipapalit hindi worth it imho unless sabihin ng technician na success naman mga ibang ginawa niya. Mahirap yung Huawei na parts kasi.

Ano ba power adapter gamit mo? I have the braided version of that Anker cable and charge my phone with it together with a Quick Charge capable power adapters. Ok naman. Pero lately maka-Ugreen na ko since they work great but inexpensive.

And for Samsung, you have to enable Fast Charging sa Settings for the phone to Fast Charge otherwise normal charging lang.

Are you using Samsung's Adaptive charger? so far ok naman ako sa Anker, only issue is the price hinihintay ko palagi na mag-sale sila bago ako bumili.

Ano ba power adapter gamit mo? I have the braided version of that Anker cable and charge my phone with it together with a Quick Charge capable power adapters. Ok naman. Pero lately maka-Ugreen na ko since they work great but inexpensive.

All my cables are Anker. Both the braided one and the one like yours. No issues so far.

Have you checked if it's really not charging fast? You can download an app like Ampere to check. Anything above 500mA with your screen on is already fast charging.

Worst case, Anker cables come with 18 month warranties. Unlike Samsung cables with only 3 month warranties.
