I ordered the S24U. My sister ordered the same phone a day earlier and got the email that it was about to be delivered.

I ordered an online exlusive color though ("Titanium Blue"), while my sister opted for the Titanium Violet. Considering I chose an odd color, I was expecting maybe a week's delay AT THE MOST not a whole freaking month.

Oh that's why... you ordered the Exclusive colors. It says that they're only going to be available after Feb 19. That's why I picked from the standard colors.

I believe it was already there the first time I saw it on Jan 18.

I wanted the orange but when I saw the ETA, never mind. lol

I got the black instead.

There's a Smart Switch app for Windows. You can backup everything first on your PC (assuming you have one with ample storage space).

Then you have two options:
1. When the new phone arrives, give him your factory-default old phone and restore the new phone from your PC backup, or
2. When the new phone arrives, connect the USB-C to USB-C cable and do a Smart Switch excluding pictures and videos. This way, the transfer is faster but you still end up with a usable and updated phone. Then, when the courier leaves, just restore from your PC backup, selecting only the pictures and videos.

Nice. I got pushed back to the end of the line when I cancelled the S24 to get the S24U. So most likely I'll get it on Monday.

I'm using an old wireless charger lang overnight and the juice lasts the whole day. Yes, tried the car usb port as well.

I would avoid fast-charging if you can tolerate the longer charge time. The added heat and the stress on the battery will surely affect its capacity to hold a charge in the long run..... unless you don't plan to keep it for longer than 3 years.

I plan to keep mine longer..... if it ever arrives.

My S24U has not arrived. It's been stuck in Consegnia since the 25th and I have not received any updates from their tracking website since. No calls, text or smoke signals that indicates that it's out for delivery. Samsung Support can offer no help once the unit leaves their warehouse. Consegnia doesn't even have a functioning email or phone/hotline and so my S24U is practically in limbo.

The rumor mill is buzzing that the S25U will:

• Be a totally different design (Samsung hired a new chief designer recently)
• Use Sony sensors for the camera
• Use new 3nm Qualcomm chips (snapdragon 8 gen 3 is on 4nm) that can supposedly run at 4GHz
• Have at least 25% better raw computing and graphics power
• Be $100 more expensive than the S25U

agree... pero same as Samsung's 8K video - they didn't even release a free video editor that can handle it

I have a 360 cam na almost unused

pero if we see a future na lahat tayo may VR, parang ang lungkot naman kung di compatible yung old videos natin

who knows, baka iba din format na gamitin nila later... pero something to consider lang when buying a phone this year

I also avoid fast charging if possible since WFH naman. Although pag malapit na umalis at low batt na I turn on fast charging.

I created a shortcut on the desktop to turn it off or on using the modes and routine of Samsung.
