Flagship smartphones have tremendous depreciation after 3 months or so from release. Note 10 was released Sept I think. Bought mine Dec at that price.
Planning to do the same for the Note 20 Dec this year, if the camera is impressive.

My brother in law in the states owns an iPhone XR. If everything normalizes na, they plan of travelling here early next year. He plans of giving it to me since he will be renewing his subscription then. I think he is eyeing the 12 kung ilalabas sometime in September this year hopefully.
Hand me down phones are ok for me basta iPhone hehe. Mura naman ang batt at ibang parts din.

Got our iPhone X 64gb a year ago for 15k from Globe. They were on sale when the XR came out. We had a 6s before that and updates were on schedule. Unlocking it after the contract period was quick and hassle-free so I was comfy with the idea of getting a locked iOS unit again.
I'll only get open-line Android units from now on though. The used market is encouraging based on your experience.
But it comes with 2 year lockup and you have to pay a higher amount for the plan vs a line-only plan for the same data allocation.
Vs buying brand new SRP, getting a phone through a lockup contract is cheaper. But getting a slightly used one (few months old) is still cheaper since you get it at depreciated price.
Though understandably not everyone wants to go through the hassle of dealing with other sellers and the tradeoff of lockup plus higher monthly cost is more enticing.

Yup it's more for convenience. The plan it's linked to sees heavy use. The number has been with us since 2001 so another 2 years of lockup doesn't mean much. The phone value can also be amortized over the term of the lockup so it becomes a part of monthly expenses instead of a one time shell out.

Just bought a mid-range RealMe XT phone a week ago. Hindi ko pa nagagamay but battery life and camera is decent per my standard.
Pamalit na ito sa aking dependable Samsung Note 3 with compatibility issues sa ibang application pag nag u-update.

damn this p40pro. specs kill the samsux easily. Nightvision!
too it doesn't have googleplay, wide lens isn't as good as the iphones, and the video stabilization isn't as good.
I never did like how Huawei processes photos especially sa selfie camera, parang ang fake... Too vivid... iPhone pa din overall mas jack of all trades ang camera nya.
^kung camera usapan iPhone 11 pa Rin
