Pwede na din, upper midrange hardware but flagship-grade camera, they don't get the dedicated Pixel VisualCore image processor nga lang. They're developed by Google's HTC team pala.

Also got the May security patch today, mukhang nadelay ang Sony ng ilang araw.

    M. Brownlee gave a good description of Google's approach to the term mid-range.

2018's Pocofone took a flagship processor and battery, tapos saved on everything else.

The Pixel 3A has an OLED Screen + Flagship Camera + Guaranteed 3 years OS updates. (Android One Devices only get 2 years) Tapos tipid na sa lahat.

Other than Google's Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S and Note lang ang alam kong device na nakakatanggap ng 2 major Android updates (may mga kilala akong naka S8 na nakatanggap na ng Pie this month), kaso Pie is 9 months old... Yung mga bumili ng S8, naka S10 na ngayon.

I would say that the Pocophone F1 is a better value with it's flagship processor over the Pixel 3A. Unless your primary reason for getting a phone is the camera, I think the Pocophone will retain it's snappiness over a longer period than the mid tier Pixel.

You have to consider that the Pixel will get Android Q, R and maybe S

If you're using a Pocofone right now, Security Patch Level at best might be April 2019.

You can still get flagship-grade photos from the Poco using a modified Google Camera app, pero aside from that di ko talaga type yung ROM nila.

The problem with the first gen Poco is optimization, as mentioned in numerous reviews it doesn't seem to fully utilize the flagship SOC's potential. Siguro by now the Poco team might have ironed out some quirks and bugs. Pero sana baka mas okay sa 2nd gen na.

Unfortunately it's become too expensive to be called the flagshp killer anymore. Refresh rate lang naman pala mataas. Not yet the best imho. Mas maganda pa din yung sa Samsung dynamic amoled imho.

IMO, wala na atang true flagship killer these days sa phones.

Hindi na katulad ng mga previous Xiaomi and OnePlus phones (Mi3 and OnePlus 3) na price-wise sobrang competitive

Parang ganun na nga. Although yung Realme X ang closest to such high-performance and good specs with decent price. Tsaka Poco F1 yung highest midrange with flaship processing power.

I think 5 lang manufacturers ng OLED...

    For phones, best ang Samsung
TV - best ang LG (Samsung's QLED is actually LED)
