basta wag less than 20% tska mo i-charge. kasi ung life recharge cycle ng phone mo mababawasan. once a month lang ung less than 20% charging.

This is not applicable anymore to modern batteries.

New batteries and chargers count charge cycles differently. If you charge with 60% battery life remaining, you use up 0.4 cycle. So charging at 60% fives times will only use up 2 battery cycles, 5 x 0.4 = 2.

For s3 & s4 (or any android ata), recommended charge level of battery is at 50% or more pagnaglalaro while charging or use tethering at max bandwidth the phone can juice out to the telco.

Thanks sir, kasi ung s4 ko siya gamit ko as internet sa bahay through tethering so ginagawa ko full charge to lowbat 15% then salpak charger. Un wala pa 2months bumigay batterya buti nalang under warranty. So sabi ni samsung dapat daw at least 50% charge level bago gamitin ngnhataw ung phone.

manghinayang ka sa s4 mo you can use a cheap froyo device for the sole purpose of tethering

just dont over charge your smart phone quite often, its not good for the battery

ako full drain bago mag charge...basta wag lang ma over charge like maiiwan ng matagal na naka full charge na.
its almost 2 yrs now, ganon pa rin ang performance.

Draining helps in updating the charge cycle of the batt

Charging is just fine when batt level is between 1-99%

When batt reached 100% unplug the charger, dont keep it plugged at that level for a long period

I charge mine overnight. I don't see any problem with it. My tab is almost two years and same lang batt life.

Actually, one of the factors that degrade battery life is heat. So overcharging is not advisable BUT if you're always charging in a cool room, it helps. Still, best not to overcharge since you're wasting energy. Avoid charging while tethering, produces a lot of heat.

Oks naman kahit sagadin. Ang problem lang is thethering tapos charge below 50% ng sabay lalo na medyo malakas ka sa net. Yun lang naman advise ng samsung sa akin. Para daw di madale ng sobrang init. Same applies to games na matindi sa resources.

Iba na batt now, hinde na na overcharge. Automatic titigil na charging pag full na...Lagi ako overnight mag charge kahit 100% hinde ko inaaalis wala naman problema.

Same here. I plug all my gadgets to their chargers before I go to sleep and I unplug them after I wake up in the morning. I've been doing this since my first cellphones pa.

That's my ex's phone. maganda. mabilis tsaka LTE capable, waterproof pa! cons is same ung battery life niya sa iphone 5 which is mabilis mag drain.
