It's the typical AKG sound boss. Medyo thin yung bass but clarity it quite good. Comparing the sound on my iPhone 6S and S8+, on my Sennheiser Momentum Over-ear and Spotify, the S8+ has more sparkle while the 6S is dry.

McAfee antivirus software to be pre-loaded on Samsung Galaxy S8
I suddenly want to cancel my s8+ order. An anti virus in a mobile phone will waste some space, lag the speed because it will interrupt processes, and a battery drain because it runs in the background.

And they are planning to include McAfee on Samsung PCs and Smart TV too. Maybe I'll start staying away from Samsung brand.

I just hope they can make it optional though. Samsung has been going the right direction by limiting their bloatwares and giving users the options to disable pre installed softwares. Just hope they don't stir away from that.

You can always disable or uninstall these stuff. Yeah it's a hassle but not a deal breaker.

The s8 lasts more than double my note 5 in battery life. And i installed my own anti virus. These things have so much processing power there is no lag. AThey are multi core juggernaughts. And safety and security always trumps any perceived lag for which there is absolutely none. I have access to statistics and real data showing how many wireless access points have been hacked by russians and eastern europeans. You will be shocked with the amount of fake dns servers there are out there hacked into these wifi access points. We are talking high 6 figure volume of access points majorly compromised. And you wanna remove anti virus? Next time you log on to your online bank account say goodbye to your security.

The biggest drain on battery life is the screen. And this s8 allows you to change to 3 different resolutions to max batter life. It also allows you to Change processor speed to max batttery life as well as change background processes ability to access wireless data. Those are class leading features.

Waste space? It has an external sd card that accepts 256 gb cards. The antivirus is not even 50mb in size.

Your fears are unfounded. And you will be missing out on what is unanimously hailed as the best smartphone this year ...... until the new Note arrives. And btw im not a fanboi. I have an iphone as well and im typing this on an ipad.

How many android virus have you heard? How many android malware are there? And being hacked by wifi access point isn't a virus. So anti virus has no use for public wifi. If you want security on public wifi, use a decent VPN. And accessing your bank account on a public wifi is stupid. Also Google has pretty much doing a good job of keeping Google Play clean. The only danger is if you install apps from unknown sources.

I have used resource intensive games like NBA 2k17, Real Racing 3 and Asphalt 8 without lag or problems. I haven't disabled background programs or optimized my phone. The S8+ kicks ass!

Suit yourself. If this is a deal breaker for you then by all means cancel your order. Im just saying id rather err on the side of safety. This device has more than enough power and battery optimizations to offset antivirus background processes.

These antivirus software now can tell you if the site you are accessing is compromised. It wont prevent you from latching onto a compromised access point but it can warn you before you make the mistake of entering your credentials into these sites.

Bro... who said i was talking about Public Wifi? Hackers are targetting everything. Check your router settings to be sure.

Lol, I think I would have more problems if my wifi get hacked and anti virus from my phone isn't even remotely connected to router hacking. Nothing has anything to do with the other.
