Yep shadow but text pa lng

You'll know if the txt is free Kung blue ang background Ng imessages, if it's green then the iPhone shifted to SMS, so charge ka. Usually this happens pag NASA isolated ka na Luger with weak 3G

The integrated FB experince with IOS 6 is good, and also it seemed my iphone and ipad are faster.

I still have a 2yr old iphone 3GS 32Gb as my backup phone. When i upgraded to IOS 6.0,cmas bumilis pa sya considering it's old phone.

Yan ang napansin ko sa Apple, even if bago ver OS hindi nya pinapabagal old models. And they're honest enough not include yun talagang sobrang old like iphone 2 for thr upgrade kse nga hindi maganda experience,

Parehas pala tayo...may 3GS (16Gb lang) din ako minus the iPad. Pero yun nga, mas mabilis siya ngayon kumpara noong iOS 5 yung nakalagay.

They have to match the ratio in resolution increase, para madali ang migration ng apple third party apps.

    -----

What samsung is doing is just useless, they 4" then 7" then 9" then 10". Ano yan lcd monitor? 13", 14"', 15",17" etc

Now why did apple increase the resolution of the iphone5, syempre for 16:9 movie/hd screen which is the new standard. And with itunes leading the the distribution of hd movies and tv series sa net, they have to do so.

Apple does not think like Asian - laki screen, dami apps. Heck apple dont even get the biggest share of their profits sa idevices, it's itunes that's earning a lot! And it's backed by Hollywood, top record and movie producers etc.

Ang wala lang backing si apple is the **** industry, that's why ayaw ni Jobs ang flash sa idevices nya, coz most streaming **** are flash-based before. apple values social rsponsibility, something that Samsung with their copycat ways and Google with their ads priority biz can never match.

kaya maswerte si Apple, coz di lang sya business,- and somehow, most of us who buy their products emulate their good aura.

Apple introduces 7.9-inch iPad mini, coming on November 2
    23 October, 2012 | Comments (130) | Post your comment

The Apple iPad mini rumors have been around for ages, but the slate finally went official. Apple has just introduced the latest iOS slate – the 7.9-inch iPad mini.

The late Steve Jobs famously slammed 7-inch slates for having no real-life application, but it seems Apple has changed its stance on the matter as the iPad mini is now a reality. It packs a 7.9-inch LED-backlit IPS screen with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels – the same as the first and second 9.7" iPads. This time around the pixel density goes higher at 163ppi thanks to the smaller display.

The iPad mini is powered by the older generation Apple A5 chipset we already met within the iPad 2. In case you need a refresh it has a 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, PowerVR SGX543MP2 graphics and 512MB RAM. The new Lightning port introduced with the iPhone 5 is here too.

The iPad mini also features a 5MP (iSight) rear camera capable of 1080p video recording. A 720p front-facing FaceTime camera is onboard as well.

The iPad mini will be available in black and white and will come with 16, 32 or 64GB non-expandable memory.

The Apple iPad mini will go on pre-order next week with market availability scheduled to start on November 2. The base model costs $329, with the 32GB and 64GB version going for $429 and $529, respectively. The Wi-Fi+Cellular model pricing starts at $459 for the 16GB.

The fourth quarter figures took Apple's profits for the year to $41.7bn, up 45% on 2011, with revenues of $156.5bn, a 61% increase.

HTC doing even worse than Blackberry...

HTC Continues its Downward Tailspin with Q3 Earnings, Is a Comeback Inevitable?

We’ve talked about this many times. The once top manufacturer, HTC, is losing ground quickly. They’ve had some pretty bad earnings lately, and it doesn’t seem to be turning around anytime soon. As BGR puts it “So bad it makes Nokia look like a growth company”, it’s sad but true. In Q3 of 2012, HTC’s handset volume dropped 43% while Nokia’s dropped 23%. Now anyone who has read my articles, listened to our podcast or chatted with my on Google+ knows that I love HTC. I’ve owned more of their phones than any other manufacturer. They make great, quality devices. But things like non-removable batteries, non-removable storage, and not allowing S-off is really hurting them.

In 2011, they released quite a few devices, but they were all pretty much the same as what they already had on the market. They released devices like the HTC Sensation (XE, XL, and 4G), Amaze 4G, and the Rezound, just to name a few. While they were great devices, they weren’t much of an upgrade which kept people from really buying another HTC product and instead bought a Samsung, or Motorola device.

Fast forward to Mobile World Congress 2012. Where HTC announced the One line. HTC reinvented themselves, Sense was paired down a lot, and less bulky. Which was a step in the right direction. HTC also told us we would get a unified naming convention for all their devices. No more of these different names for the same exact phone. But that lasted about 2 months. Until HTC and Sprint announced the HTC EVO 4G LTE at CTIA. That was to be the successor of the original HTC EVO 4G, and the names didn’t confuse anyone did they? During the summer, HTC launched the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE on Verizon, which was not much of an improvement over the Droid Incredible 2, except for the 4G LTE connectivity. So as you can see, the One naming is only for GSM carriers.

So why has HTC been having such bleak earnings for the past few quarters? Mostly because Samsung has become such a king in the Android world now that its difficult for everyone to keep up. If you walk into a carrier store, let’s use Sprint as an example, and you see the HTC EVO 4G LTE, Samsung Galaxy S3, and Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which one would you pick up? The EVO LTE and the S3 are the same price, with the S3 having better specs and also being in many commercials on TV. Most consumers who aren’t family with Android or HTC are going to pick the Galaxy S3 because they’ve seen it everywhere. Along with the expandable storage and removable battery.

Here’s some even sadder news on the HTC front. HTC’s smartphone volume went down 42% dropping to just 7 million handsets. Meaning that RIM actually surpassed HTC. Now that’s a shocker. Especially since it’s been how long since a new Blackberry was released? And how many times has Blackberry 10 been delayed? Only thing we can hope is that Google gives HTC another crack at a Nexus device. But so far we’ve seen no leaks or rumors about that happening, and Google is announcing the new Nexus on Monday. We can also hope the HTC J Butterfly does well, and that the HTC DLX (Verizon) get’s announced and released very soon. These Phone/Tablet hybrid devices should do well if the carriers price them right. But we’ll see.

HTC does still make great devices, but they are a bit behind with updates. Not as bad as Motorola or LG though, since they did start rolling out Jelly Bean to the HTC One X this weekend. But we can’t afford to have Samsung taking all the Android business. Samsung and the others need competition so we can continue to get great devices.

Apple don't listen to consumers too

What's wrong with Apple, putting a 5400rpm hdisk on the iMac?!?! Para hindi masyadong uminit? Bakit kasi kelangan gawin sobrang nipis ng iMac, hindi naman ito bubuhatin, desktop nga ito.
