Just recently, I found out it was not a good idea to use this PC as the host for the company file. Since I use this PC a lot, there are times that I will need to reboot this PC, or sometimes the PC will turn very slow or will hang. Which would make it inaccessble to other PCs.
Now I'm back to looking for a host (server) PC. I'm thinking of getting those compact Atom based PCs and just use KVM. I haven't yet seen a KVM nor knew how it actually functions. Does all PC vendors know of this KVM? Is the KVM a hardware add-on? If this is a hardware add-on, do I need to put this on both PCs?
