I suggested undervolting. Works great with Pentium M and Turions. Read that it does not work well with CoreDuo as Intel locked the minimum voltage.

yung MSI S270 ng tatay ko nag didisplay ng a couple of rows of garbage. deng. it is just 7 months old right now. dadalhin ko ulit sa binilhan ko.

papaltan ko na sana yung unstable P3 ko ng MSI notebook. mukhang ndi ako kukuha ng MSI.

San po may reseller ng ASUS or ACER laptops? Sa pinas lang rin ako bibili...

Sir if that's blue screen plus rows of garbage it may be a memory/hard disk problem...

And I also sell Asus & Acer laptops... Asus with 2 year global warranty... Acer with 1 year international warranty... may promo ngayon ang Acer some of their high end laptops extended to 3 year international warranty...

mugen, 80GB lang HDD nung sa akin. mga 60GB lang ang usable dahil kinain nung pang restore yung almost 20GB.

Laki naman ng system resyore mo. You can set the amount of HDD space used/reserved for system restore. You can even disable it if you want to. Go to control panel, system, the click on the system restore tab.

7.8GB lang pala yung ginamit as system recovery, kasama na dito yung windows installation. naka separate partition sya.

niwde, yan yung isa kong choice when i bought my laptop (compaq presario V3160). mas bang for the buck yang acer kesa dito sa compaq, kaso nanaig ang pagka form over function ko that time

and i don't like the keyboard layout of the acer, pa curve sya, para sa mga marunong lang mag type.

yan nga pinili ko para kay sister.... ang ayaw ko lang ay ikaw gagawa ng CDs or DVD para sa recovery, daily me reminder para sa backup.. magaan nga sa mata screen..

GOOD BUY yan sir. But ingat lang sa mga future problems, Acer kasi yan. Better get a Compaq or HP or Apple. Look din for shops na tied-up with BPI, na may Zero interest and 1 year to pay din. I got mine sa Galleria (not sure what shop, mom ko kumuha), almost 89K na Compaq B1821. So far so good =) Gusto ko ung Acer na white hahaha ung 11"

anyway wag kayo masyadong masway sa brands. minsan tinatatakan lang yan ng "DELL", "apple" or "sony". i have read somewhere na (at galing kay sir mikmik) na 60% of laptops are made by asus, quanta and compal.
